good location, near ayala mall.. there's also a multicab passing infront of the hotel going to fuentes cirle the hotel is already outdated and the aircon in one of our rooms is not functioning well. It's not that bad for an overnight stay. Metered taxi from airport to richmond will only cost P150-P170. I like the location because it's near the ayala mall and there's a multicab going to fuentes circle. But the hotel already needs some renovation and it's already outdated. The aircon really needs a replacement.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating.
The location was fantastic for our needs and the room had all we needed The dining room was a little worse for wear Overall the Richmond Plaza Hotel is a clean hotel with excellent staff who are more than willing to assist you in any way they can.
The rooms are basic but clean and tidy with all you really need for a stay.
The dining room was the only let down as the food was not very nice and the room itself was a little run down.
The location is very close to the Ayala Centre, there is a jeepney stop just up the street and the Capitol building is a 20 min walk.
All in all a nice hotel.
Shopping Tip : The Ayala shopping complex is a 5-10 minute walk away and easy to find

the hotel was nice, friendly staff, good location, price was ok, havent tried any food, we had a room witha nice view there isn't really one... for what it costs it offers quite a lot I would say... I would go back there again if going to Cebu I think... Ayala Mall is not far away, also ATM, taxi etc...

Great service and accommodating staff Some repairs are needed (toilet leaked)
Need to have double beds in most all rooms We enjoyed our stay at the Richmond Plaza due to the polite and accommodating staff. We received all items we requested promptly, and with pleasant service. The restaurant served a good breakfast at a very reasonable price. The hotel is very reasonably priced but is in need of some renovation before we could recommend it to our friends. It would have been nice to have double beds in the rooms.

It was a nice stay in cebu richmond hotel 'coz the room was great i sleep well the foods at the restaurant was good and has a low price and richmond is not far from the venue of my seminar which is in Waterfront and it is also near in malls and other places where you can have your leisure time. The only problem i encountered with the hotel is that they don't want to issue an official receipt for my payment made thru internet, but it was already done by agoda, tnx. And another thing is that the people in the front desk do not speak english fluent that we cannot understand each other, they talking in visayan language which i dont understand. the hotel was good the food was good and low in price, room was good i sleep well and the price was also low, i enjoyed the massage room service at a low cost also and the hotel was very accesible to my seminar venue which is in waterfront hotel. The deluxe room we got was actually larger than we thought. The massage is not bad. There is no convenience stores around, other than ayala mall which is actually a 5-10min taxi ride. Directly opposite the hotel is a wasteland-looking place. The door had problems locking and it was quite frightening at night, also, there was hardly any water for the flush and shower. We didn't like the sandwich we ordered which turned out sweet, and the coffee was pretty bad. This hotel was not what we expected, especially its surroundings. So, we thank God that Agoda is very helpful and we shifted to another hotel at mactan island instead.
Shopping Tip : Don't be tricked into spending more than 50pesos for a taxi ride from richmond plaza to ayala mall.

Good location, Easy walk to Ayala Mall, coffee houses, some fine restaurants. Very friendly, well informed staff, very good restaurant in house. Richmond hotel is located in a good area of Cebu city, a short walk to Ayala mall, restaurants, coffee houses and clubs. Very good staff, well informed and cooperative to help in any manner possible. I had breakfast only once the inhouse restaurant and was quite impressed with the quality of food and waitstaff. Very professional and great food. Only problem is the rooms seemed a bit outdated, somewhat drab, and can use a makeover. Internet was not available in room but was in lobby. A winner for a lower price! If you need just a room to sleep in this is the place!
Shopping Tip : Walk to Ayala Mall which has everything!

Close to shopping and a great little bar called El Gecko It's an old building, some things need maintenance. The Richmond Plaza Hotel is good value for the money. A few complaints like no mirror in the bathroom to shave with - you have to keep running into the bedroom to look in the mirror, the taps sometimes turn off and sometimes don't but overall not too much to complain about. The staff were exceptional and made up for the any shortcomings of the building and room itself. I would certainly stay here for a short stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in a rather dingy area. I was not sure if it was safe for me to be out walking on the streets near the hotel as the hotel is located in a rather dingy area. It was only a short walk to Ayala Mall. All the staff that I came into contact with are very friendly and helpful. Transportation is also easy.
