Elegant hotel
The CR is clean, the bed is nice, and the lighting's great.

In three days staying at the hotel. i really enjoyed it! The room is very clean, well carpeted, the bathroom is nice, and secured place. The food is delicious as well.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel is accessible. When you stay during the sinulog, Sarrosa is a perfect place to stay it is near the airport and shopping mall. since sinulog days is very traffic in the city.

Like the decor in the rooms. Very elegant with black out heavy drapes. Its quite regal for its price. The staff are very nice. all very friendly.

i stayed here during sinulog and was very happy with the room. the carpet was new and plush. the bed was a queen size with a chaise lounge positioned near the window. the bathroom had nice new tile with a separate bathtub and a shower with a rainshower head.
i didn't really take a taxi from the hotel, but always had a friend pick me up. it didn't seem far or out of the way from wherever we were headed. the food in the restaurant was ok. i only had one meal the chicken piccadori and it was a waste of money. they served a chicken leg with literally 4 bites of meat. i sent it back but they had no other cut and still charged me. there is only internet access in the lobby, but there is cable tv in the room with many channels. there is also a refrigerator in the room.

with a further extension of 2 days from 21st to 23rd sept 2011
this hotel has good location and comfortable and clean room

overall experience was as expected for the price... the service was excellent and everyday was filled with personalized attention from the staff- it helps to offer small tips. the new wing of the hotel is the best...so overall sarrosa is a friendly hotel.

Stay away from Sarrosa Hotel
not much positive things to tell about this hotel

Sarrosa Hotel has a significant lack of service- and customerorientation and is badly managed.
First experience was that my room, which was in the old part of the building, had no toilet bowl, instead there was a big hole in the bottom of the bathroom. After i complained they gave me another room in the old building, which was grubby (therefore i recommend not to take a room in the old part of the hotel). When i complained again by the manager, she even did not apologize for giving me a room with no toilet bowl (never experienced such a mismanagement)she offered me a room in the new wing of the hotel. The room was quite o.k., but she wanted to have additional 1.700 pesos (about 30 Euro per night). In the end after negotiating i had to pay 500 pesos per day in addition.
The room were not clean, there was no hairdryer in the room, no sign at the door where you can signal for cleaning the room or not to be disturbed with the consequnece, that the service personal ringed you out of bed in the morning.
No safe in the room, you have to deposit your valuables in a safe at the reception desk, but you cannot deposit a laptop, because the safe is to small.
WIFI is free in the lobby, the LAN in the room has to be paid.
Some of the personal was friendly, other part wasn't, for me a clear managemnent problem.
Hotel Feature Tip:
I would not recommend this hotel because of the significant lack of service orientation.
