Comfy Hotel but far out to other restos

All of the other guests were foreigners, so it felt like we were in another country. I liked the room we had.
The cafe only has few dishes.
They could really add up more sumptuous dishes during breakfast please. It was really plain and boring - when breakfast should perk you up for the day ahead.

Great hotel with smile, kind support and service

Great hotel and resort with good view of the sea from the balcony room. Staff are polite and served with great smile. Front desk staff are very supportive and served me with their kind help when I encountered with some problem during my initial stay.
Location is a bit isolated but overall is good. I would love to comeback again in near future.

The Sotogrande was an excellent hotel, with clean, modern amenities and top-notch service. The buffet breakfast is excellent too, and the fron-desk staff are very helpful. The pools are nice and clean, although the "beach" is a bit of a disappointment. It is shamefully small. Wifi is only available in the lobby. All in all, though, a hotel highly recommended.

Nice looking Hotel

Had free complementary breakfast and and access to Wifi. House keeping was friendly and efficient. Room was clean, but had small cockroaches in it. Shower has rails can not maintain a person weight when held onto. Toilets do not have enough power to flush and takes a long time to refill. Hotel restaurant seem to be improperly staffed. Some item on menu were not available to order due to not enough kitchen staff to prepare food. I found a dining room chair whose bottom came up apart from the seat. Finaly, it took a long time to for the staff to take an order and deliver the ordered meal with in an acceptable time frame. No iron or place to wash your clothes.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bring in your own iron and know where the latest laundromat is to get yuour clothes clean.

Comfortable room though far from the beach

Got a suite, so it was big and comfortable. Bathroom is a little small though and didn't have a clothes line. Beach is pathetic and time is better spent by the pool - quiet on weekdays or when there are no large groups of teenagers mucking around. Pool towels will be welcome - we had to lug towels from the room and repeatedly ask for towels. Situated rather deep into the street - have to cab everywhere.

Superb Service and Spacious Rooms
very spacious. it was a perfect choice to celebrate my birthday in Sotogrande.

i had a wonderful stay along with my husband and son. we invited some guest to come over and join us for swimming. i paid a very minimal fee for the swimming pool.
Hotel Feature Tip:
if staying for comfort, booked a deluxe and a suite room (connecting room), the entire accommodation becomes very homey..

Our connecting rooms (1 suite and 1 deluxe) are big but a little bit old and outdated. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beach is not suitable for swimming when we went there, there was lots of seaweed so we swam at their pool instead. Buffet breakfast is ok, not much variety but enough for us. Nothing much to do around the hotel. We just relax and watch tv in our room after a swim at the pool.

The hotel is old and dirty. There was cockroaches in the toilet. The room is huge though. The ocean view is nice. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool.

it is a fine hotel for a romantic get away. it was a first rate structure. the pool was superb. it is just too far from cebu city for good shopping. the staff was very pleasant. i had no trouble with check in and check out. the cab fares in are minimum for each way. if you are there for quiet, it is ok. wi-fi was good most of the time. the food was average at best. just beware of the extra charges drivers try to charge for the city run! i would return with my girlfriend. perfect if we want a nice out of the way spot for quiet!
Restaurant Tip:
Go into the city for better food. The menu was poor and food is average!
