The reason I booked the Henry was the nice design. Checking in, it was indeed a really looked just as great. Art pieces on most of the walls against a great cement finish. Shower rooms are nice and spacious, and there is also a small living area with a comfortable couch. The bed is big and fitted with great linen. The hotel is also centrally located & near the main streets where shopping areas, parks, & other restaurants are just a jeepney or short taxi ride away. The hotel itself has a great bar called the Scrapyard, and also a nice restaurant called Rica's. The art design of the hotel extends to the rooms, restaurant & bar. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful too.

Nice hotel nice large rooms

this is my third stay at the house of cebu. i must say i was happy with almost everything the hotel has to offer. big clean rooms. friendly staff.
everything was great except that they failed to provide the foot towels. i don't know about you but i really love the feel of stepping on a nice crisp clean towel coming out of the shower. plus it keeps the bathroom floors dry thus decreasing bathroom accidents.
nevertheless everything else was very good
Nightlife Tip:
There's a nice hip bar on the second floor
Down the street there's at least 3 good restaurants and a bar

had a nice stay at the house of cebu (or is it called the henry now?) while in town on a business trip. i come to cebu often but this is my first time in house of cebu. the room was spacious and comfortable. the wifi was a little slow but reliable. it was odd that absolutely everything in the hotel said "house of cebu" but the welcome letter said "the henry (formerly house of cebu)." the hotel is close to btc and gaisano's and many food options. it is less than a mile from it park where i spend much of my time. i would definitely stay here again.
