Great place to stay
It was spacious and very clean. They offered wifi and the connection was really fast.

We love this hotel! The bed was soft and big. The room was tidy and clean. It was a nice place to relax after a long, tiring day. We will definitely go back to this hotel again.
Shopping Tip:
It is right across Ayala Center and you could reach the mall by simply walking, no need for a taxi ride. If you get hungry in the midnight, you can buy foods at the 7th-11 just right beside the hotel.

The hotel is near the upscale Ayala mall in Cebu City and is new. However that's where my praise ends. As others have commented on this site, the front desk personnel could be friendlier. But the fly in the ointment is their "cheapness" and I don't mean price necessarily, as there are comparable hotels for the same price in the area.
Upon checking in your are handed your "towel" with instructions to return it to the front desk upon checking out - very awkward.
Also, their motto is pay only for what you need. Since I booked online this did not apply to me. But in the halls next to every room are signs "pay only for what you need...." This means conditioning, extra towels, hair dryer, Internet connection etc. Thankfully this didn't apply to using the toilet though you are furnished with just one small roll of tissue.
At 9;30 am I was checking my emails using the Wifi when they disconnected it -- I guess to let us know it was time to pack up and head out. It was never turned back on again.
Another problem is their early check out 11:00 am sharp and when I looked for a phone to make a local cal - there wasn't one in the room, not even to call the front desk. After walking around the hall I discovered they have a phone next to the elevator that will allow you to call the front desk.
In the rooms are spaces for advertising on the walls, one next to the TV....
Some may like all of this while others like me might find their flagrant detail to cheapness and squeezing a buck out of you - distasteful.

Value for Money
Good location, near malls, and other attractions

The good thing about this hotel is that it is very practical. Rooms are small and simple but enough 1if you are only going to stay here for the night and go sightseeing during daytime. It is quite convenient as it is near malls and other tourist attractions and food places , so there is little need to spend much on transportation cost. The bed is also nice and comfy, although don't bring too much luggage as space for this is limited.
Hotel Feature Tip:
When choosing Tune hotel, always try to book through agoda because it is much cheaper and more complete features as compared to actual hotel website. Have tried this for both manila and cebu and agoda is really cheaper.

The Hotel has great location. It is near the attractions, mall, bar, etc.. It has accommodating/friendly staffs. Also, very cheap, clean and nice room. Worth the money

Check in process is pretty quick, the location is very central infront of a huge shopping mall. There is a 7/11 convenience attached to the building and easy to get a taxi.
Restaurant Tip:
many good restaurants can be found infront of the Hotel inside Ayala mall.

Clean room with comfortable beds

we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights there and feel satisfied with the hotel. it's in a good location, 3 minutes walking to a shopping mall where we can exchange money, have foods in food court, and do shopping if needed. there is also a convenience store 7/11 on the ground floor. it takes less than 10 minutes by taxi to go to highlights of cebu and to the port.
the hotel is very clean. although the room is very small but the bath room is large enough. the bed is very comfortable - much better than the beds in the other hotel at this price. the staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful.
however, the hotel has very limited facilities.

Hat's off to the honesty of the staff that clean my room, they are indeed honest since sometimes i forgot to lock my safe and nothing was ever missing. They also clean the room pretty good even though i leave a mess sometimes.

For travelers who rarely stay in their hotel room

It's great to have hotels such as these.. Gives you the freedom to pay for what you only need and want. Great location plenty of establishments in the surrounding area and right across the mall. Very nice and accommodating staff as well.
