this is a great hotel with a great food, very pleasant staff, clean rooms, big swimming pool, and an exercise rooms! prices are reasonable for this up-scale hotel. i would highly recommend the water front hotel - mactan island - to travelers. and, even though i do not gamble, they do have a modest size casino. this hotel is also very conveniently located just two minutes from the international airport. however, the hotel is 15 to 30 minutes taxi ride from various sectors of the city of cebu - so if you have plans to visit a shopping mall or two - be prepared for some "traffic time". this hotel is also only a five to ten minute drive from marine dock sites from which you can arrange a scuba diving trip to numerous dive sites with certified dive instructors and guides.

A hotel with great location
Locationwise couldn't be better

Locationwise it couldn't be better as it is right across from the Mactan airport, however, room condition was not so satisfactory and the casino was simply not impressive.

Went there for one day only. just for sleeping. but Hotel was not bad. but Casino was small.
and you are not allowed to bring food from outside. hotel ask to pay for food from outside..

It seems like the hotel service has deteriorated since my last stay there two years ago. The servers in the restaurant does not know how to serve guests. Reception and front desk personnel are not swift. Overall I would rate the hotel only a 3 star because of the staff not being attentive to guests at all.

Super convenient to Cebu/Mactan Airport, VERY nice
Just a few steps from baggage claim at the airport

HUGE suite with great king-sized bed for only about $80 USD per night, including decent breakfast buffet. Beautiful pool area with small weight room. Casino (not for me). I arrived at midnight after traveling 22 hours, so to be able to walk to the hotel in just a couple of minutes was very nice. Other airport area hotels are further away and almost as expesive without the Waterfront Airport Hotel's quality. Downtown Cebu City is 30-60 minutes from the airport, so location, location, location is the reason to stay there before after or between flights. Agoda MUCH cheaper than the hotel's website.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Instead of paying for a taxi, ask directions after baggage claim to the stairs to the hotel

Plush, Pleasant and Convenient

The hotel has a nice pool that accommodates small children and adults. The surroundings are lovely even in its close proximity to the airport.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is on the grounds of the Cebu-Mactan airport and could not be more convenient to resorts and dining. Even being so close to the airport, airplane noise was not noticeable.

Value for Money Hotel

Overall very happy with the service and stay.
Order room service almost daily but it seem like the room service phone very hard to get through, had to get the operator to transfer, guess they did not place back the phone properly.
Rank and File staff are very good but the the manager (those in Jackets)
If looking for cheap and good hotel, you should go for this hotel. It is safe and location near the airpot and it had a casino
