Waterfront Cebu
Good location within Cebu. Close to malls and tourist sites. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Big lobby with nightly entertainment.

I was very happy with my stay at the hotel. I booked a day trip to Bohol through the hotel which was excellent. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was very helpful in places to visit and where to shop. Check in and check out was very fast and without problems. Don't expect a Las Vegas type of casino, Ok for Cebu. I would go back to this hotel.

Rooms are not that big. It looks little bit old but still good for travelers. well guarded. you can feel safety like you r home.

One of the Best Hotels in Cebu for the Price

I have always received a good return for my money at this hotel. For the most part the hotel staff is attentive to your needs.The hotel is centrally located with easy access by taxi to the two main shopping malls in the City. There is always a line of taxis outside the lobby waiting to serve the guest. The taxi service is monitored and they use a meter to determine the fare.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Great lobby for people watching at night as they go to the in house casino with live music and singer at night.

Welcome to Cebu
Excellent buffet breakfast at the cafe Uno and an outstanding lobby environment with live music and singer at night. Free wifi internet access in the roomsas well as in the public areas. The two nearby major shopping malls are easily accessed by taxi for a about 80 pesos ($1.50).

As a frequent business traveler to Cebu City for the past 10 years, I would highly recommend the hotel for both the leisure and business traveler. For the most part the hotel staff are very friendly and attentive to the guests needs. The food preparation and taste is above average with the hotel serving a very good breakfast buffet each morning in Cafe Uno.
The hotel has free wifi acess throughout the hotel which is unusual for most Philippine hotels which charge the guest for the service.
If you are arriving at Mactan International Airport I would recommend contacting the Waterfront guest services staff in the arrival lobby and telling them you want a normal airport car to the hotel. The charge is approximately 295 pesos ($6.00) for the 30 minute drive to the hotel.There is no need to take a more expensive hotel lemo which is much more expensive.
The Waterfront Hotel is equal in service and cheaper in price than the other major brand named hotels such as the Cebu City Marriott, Hilton Mactan Island or Shangri-la Mactan Island Resort
Restaurant Tip:
Many newly opened restaurants are available in upscale Ayala Center Mall which is an easy 10 minute taxi ride from the hotel at a cost of about 80 pesos ($1.50).

Comfortable Room but Poor Buffet Food
Room is comfortable. Hotel is nice .Good facilities & many restaurants. Free Shuttle Service to SM Mall & Ayala Mall.

A nice hotel but not really value for money.
The Restaurant UNO buffet had a big selection of food but the Seafood is not fresh, especially the Fresh Oyster which No guest took it.
The Seafood Port Restaurant buffet which is cheap at P299.00 net but, very poor food.
I requested for a late check out at 2pm & was agreed by the reception, but, from 10.30am, The housekeeping department keep calling me untill 11.30am which I log a complain to the operation about the telephone call.

An excellent hotel, stylishly attractive and with opulence and grandeur. Rooms are good size, well decorated and provide internet access. Bathrooms are a little small but adequate. F and B outlets are very good and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. Located close to Ayala Mall, maybe 10 minutes walk away and convenient for the central business district. The Casino in-house makes this an atrtractive venue for MICE events and a lrage number of local convention groups are evidence of this

Why not to stay at the Waterfront

Upon entry to the Waterfront hotel, you could be fooled in thinking this was a plush establishment with service to match the quality of the entrance lobby. Unfortunately, you would be disappointed. My bag had been delayed and I asked them to take it to my room when it arrived (the courier had my name and room number), as I was going out. A normal request, one might think. Apparently not. The hotel's policies did not allow anything to be taken to my room without me present, even with my prior approval.
One of my friends brought some business associates back to the hotel. It was after 10pm, and they would not let them in as visitors are not allowed in the rooms after this time. He was not even allowed to take them to the 24 hour cafe, and told if he made a fuss he would be thrown out too.
Neither he, nor I, will be going back.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff were excellent and professional, the room was satisfactory, but the bathroom could do with a face lift. I am not a big gambler, but had a pleasant trip to the casino. Theer are pleanty of bars and restaurants in the hotel complex, I didn`ty try them all but of the ones I did try the food and service was excellent, breakfasts are great, I have been in Malaysia for 6 years, so I was very pleased to have a proper breakfast for a change, There are plenty of Shopping malls withing 15 minutes, which kept the wife happy.
Overall I had a pleasant stay and would stay here again
