We only stayed one night while on our was to Boracay but the hotel was extremely nice and the staff was wonderful.
I would stay here again if I found myself in CEBU

Its a top hotel in my opinion. Great rooms, great roomservice, great pool. The staff talks good english and are very friendly. The resort got everything you need, from casino to outdoor pool to mini-mart and hairsaloon.
Nightlife Tip:
Mango square is a area with a lot of partying.

If you like fresh air, this is not your place - the windows do not open no matter how much you complain. Also, there are no matches anywhere in the hotel, which they also claim - as with the window - is for "guest safety." They seem convinced that the guests are likely to set themselves on fire before they jump.

lovely hotel and service with a smile

On my second stay in the hotel, i was given a room adjacent to the elevator. I would have appreciated if i was told about it beforehand so i would have changed my room right there on the front desk. The elevator was too noisy so i had to ask for another room but i appreciated on how fast the front desk sent the bellhop for my room change.
Nightlife Tip:
love the IT park across the hotel which is open until the wee hours of the morning.

No 1 hotel in Cebu
The location is the best as a city hotel in Cebu city. Very convenient to go to any place. Very huge lobby and well trained employees.

During my stay there,the lobby was always crowded with hotel guests and the visitors,then I enjoyed such city hotel atomosphere. If you wish to walk, IT park with lots of restaurants and mainly young people and huge Ayala center is within 3-4 miniutes and 10 min. respectively. I liked the location. The superior room was good size and everything was nice except it was too cold(too much aircon) with the minimum setting of AC and can not be controlled. I spent 3 cold nights.
Since the hotel is almost like the land mark I would recommend to stay there at least once for your experience. The price was also reasonable.
Shopping Tip:
For the night life, the hotel location is very attractive also.
We can go to night clubs and many reasonable restaurants riding very cheap taxi(like 60-70 pesos)

my parents got a room on the 15th floor particularly room 1518 ... was so bad that they couldn't sleep because it was so near the elevator shaft, the noise was there all night .... the thing that we don't understand is their elevators makes so much noise ... even when your waiting to take the lift ... without looking at the floor indicators you would know that a car is coming because it makes too much noise ... weird! .... have been to many hotels but this is the first time i encountered an elevator this loud!
Travel tip:
tell the front desk lady upon check in to never put you in a room near the elevator!

Hotel has all the facilities you require without having to go out.

Waterfront is a decently priced hotel suitable for all types of travelers. Rooms are clean and reasonably furnished and service is good. It is a short taxi ride to the Ayala Mall where there are several restaurants serving international cuisines.

We always get the same reliable professional and friendly service, spacious very clean rooms, with some of the best brekfast buffet we know.
However, sometimes a little too busy due to the variety of social events that the hotel also accomodate.
