Stayed here for 3 nights, was quite satisfied with the overall quality of the hotel. Buffet Breakfast was outstanding and included in the price of the room. Staff were extremely helpful.

No the best but always my favorite
8.7
Room-wise, Waterfront's rooms are not as good as Marriot's and Marco Polo's. No bathrobes, slippers, in-room safe, the mattresses are not as firm, and the pillows are not as soft. However, I prefer to stay here because of the hotel's features - a resort-type, casino, duty free shop, 24-hour gym and good food choices (Tin Gow for Chinese, Mizu for Japanese, La Gondola for Italian, Uno for international buffet, Cafe Fortuna for Filipino and international buffet, and Port for Filipino buffet). If you just want to chill, you can choose between the lobby lounge, Sally's Piano bar, Treff bar or Madeleine for coffee and dessert. If you want to scrimp, go to the basement parking and ask for the driver's lounge where they serve untouched portions from the buffet spread at a fraction of the cost.
Restaurant Tip:
Dining in Cebu is always value for money. Within Waterfront hotel, Tin Gow's sweet and sour pork is unforgettable. For vegetarians, try their salt and pepper tofu. Lechon lovers will appreciate Port's lunch and dinner buffet. Cross the street to Asiatown I.T. and choose among the every-growing restaurant s. Casa Verde's ribs will put Tony Roma's to shame. Also try Roma Mia's grandfather chops, Abuhan's sizzling pochero (bulalo in Tagalog) and Moon's Cafe's steaks and cocktails. For dessert lovers, La Marea's brownie cup is a must. Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's desserts are better than what's offered in Manila and other Asian countries (try their Chicago cheesecake - I paid twice as much in CBTL in India, and it wasn't even half as good). For an international fare, take a 40-peso cab ride to either Cafe Georg along Banilad Road or Oh Georg in Ayala. I always order their pork belly every time I am in town. They also have the best desserts in the country.

nice hotel
comfortable, free shuttle to/from the malls, taxis readily available
7.7
the room was very comfortable. we requested for a non-smoking level but got the 3rd floor, which was right above the casino, so we could smell the smoke once we got out of our room come morning. but it was a good thing that the smell didn't penetrate to our room and was only prevalent when we would go out.

We came in at around 10 in the morning for an early check-in and they provided us a room immediately, which I think was great since we are all tired. The Deluxe room that we booked was really good and clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is also clean and didn't have any problems. The free WiFi in the room was really handy since I need to get online from time to time. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
Nightlife Tip:
Just in front of the hotel's main gate, there is a place called IT Park where there are plenty of trendy bars, coffee shops, and restaurants.

Great Location
Location in the heart of Cebu City. Friendly staff. Respectful front dest and door men
7.7
This was my first stay at the Waterfront. I've heard great comments from friends and co-workers whom have stayed here. I felt secure and had fun in the casino with my wife. The room was a nice size. Comfortable and clean. All the staff was respectful and very customer oreintated. We went downstairs to sing Videoke and the men working told my wife she has nice legs and then said she should sing with them. I was shocked because I thought all employyees of Waterfront would be professional and I brought my wife upstairs and away from the rude workers. I hope all members can be trained about sexual harrassment in the work place.
Restaurant Tip:
I.T. Park is right across from The Waterfront. Great restaurants. Mooon Cafe, KFC, and Starbucks are easy access.

Interesting to know that superior rooms are better than deluxe rooms. they are bigger and the equipments are the same!
Service is really bad, we have to wait almost a day to transfer to a room corresponding to our booking.
Business center is overpriced and a rip-off -> 50P for a photocopy
Breakfast is good but meals are all the same every days
swimming pool is not that bad
Hotel Feature Tip:
Avoid business center for costly prices
Cafe in lobby which is independent from the hotel

Excellent Location
Excellent location, comfortable room with great view

I have been in Cebu many times but not to this hotel. It is excellent value for money, comfortable, well located, good food.
I am a builder so I cringe at the ancient faucets and shower valves. I liked the hotel and will stay again.
