WOnderful Cebu Experience
Vey good buffet breaksfast, 5 star treatment on a true 5 star hotel, good rooms, god pool, and nice staff.

It was a very nice hotel with a very accomodating staff and nice facilities. Breakfast was great and room is so comfy. Highly recommended.

I've always loved waterfront, cebu. It used to be my home away from 6-8 years ago. and it has never changed when I got back last May 2010. What's more...my momwho was a first timer in said hotel was so impressed. Thank you for your warm assistance to us.

Excellent Hotel
Good location, beautiful lobby, excellent gym and above average restaurants.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past 10 years when on business in Cebu. The room rates are great considering the location, the excellent gym and the upscale lobby. The restaurants within the hotel are exceelent, especially the Cafe Uno where the brekfast buffet is served. If you are offered he breakfast buffet for a few extra dollars, I would highly suggest you accept. The food and selection is great.

Our stay at the Waterfront Lahug Hotel was more than we expected. We had booked the hotel directly from home for 3 nights before leaving for Bohol. From the time we arrived and were greeted by the hotel staff to the time we left and were escorted to a taxi by the bellhop and wished a pleasant journey. The pool was pleasant place to hang out when the humidity rose. Any place we wanted to go in the city was a short taxi ride away. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another night through Agoda before flying home.

Waterfront Hotel review May 2-6 2010
Personnel is excellent, always ready to assist, extremely friendly, polite, respectful of guest. They have obviously been well selected, trained, managed.

Waterfront is a first class hotel. The rooms, facilities, hotel reception, the reception bar area, and restaurants are all attractive, spacious, well-staffed. The overall atmosphere is warm, friendly. There are a good selection of restaurants in the hotel complex -- which is important as the hotel is located a bit remote from the city center. The casino is included in the same complex and is fun, easy to access, relaxed atmosphere -- not so serious due to low minimums. The hotels security staff is also excellent, and obtaining a taxi was never a problem. I enjoyed my stay immensely.
Nightlife Tip:
Sunflower City restaurant / disco bar is an interesting experience with very nice mix of Philippino and foreign guests, having a good time, with a great live music performance. It's almost within walking distance, but a taxi is highly recommended.

Great outdoor pool area!! Fantastic, friendly staff. Safe in some of the rooms. Make sure you ask at check in. Agoda's sight says all rooms in Superior section have safes but that is not the case. Ask at check in!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Near alot of attractions. Stay in Mactan if you want beach areas. It's about 30 to 45 mins away from the beach, but in the heart of the city.

A Wonderful stay....
Staff generally are friendly & helpful. Good location & shuttle services to shopping mall. A good spread of breakfast.

A good spread of Buffet breakfast awaits our day of shopping & sight seeing. Friendly & obliging Housekeeping staff. Overall hotel staff are good. Rooms need refurbishing, furniture very old, TV should be changed to flatscreen type.Be careful of taking shower standing in the bathtub.Bathroom also needs a change over.But we like the sufficient bright lightings to compensate for the "old feeling" of the room. 5 star facilities but no 5 star furbishings.
Shopping Tip:
Ayala Mall has a great choice of restaurants along the terrace.

Nice property close taxi ride to Ayala mall. Has many theme restaurants and casino. Great service and friendly staff. Super nice pool area just really strict rules about guests and no outside food
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a taxi to Ayala mall, its close and super modern, like greenbelt in Makati

I was impressed by the exterior appearance. The main entrance hall easily portrayed an ambiance atmosphere. The courteous staff lent a hospitality culturally of Filipino nature.
The room was nice, and cool, a refreshing welcome from the scorching heat outside. Bed an pillows of top quality comfort. Bathroom amenities were above average.
Room service was fast and friendly. Outside noise was not of an issue.
One word to describe ? Impressive !
Shopping Tip:
An excellent mall is just around the corner.
