• Clean hotel room.
• Wireless internet speed fast. Signal Strength Low.
• Nice staffs
• Small toilet, difficult to move around
• Simple breakfast. Filipino or American/Intercontinental
• Rather busy receptionist during night time.
• No toiletry kit provided, but shampoo and body wash can be found in dispenser
• Room light a bit dim
• Fast checkout.
• Very honest staff who is quick to return handphone when found while checking out of the hotel

great small or boutique hotel
the hotel is a good size, and all the staff remember who you are.

as always, i stay at this hotel for my trips to davao.
the staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile and ever ready to be of help.
the rooms are clean and tidy, and the blue hub restuarant is a great little spot to start or end the day with breakfast or coffee.
i was priveleged to participate in the style of future breakfasts, and look forward to the offerings.
compared to other major hotels, it may not be placed in the centre of the city, but it is only minutes away in a taxi.
it is placed right next to one of the major shopping centres where you can get virtually most of your needs at ecoland sm mall.
and having access to free wifi is a huge benefit. many hotels just don't understand the benefit this is to clients, and how it is a determining factor in selecting a hotel.
having tried a few other hotels, i have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to travellers.
Shopping Tip:
the ecoland sm mall is right across the road and less than 5 minute walk to all the dining options and movie theatres.

Great little hotel

i always stay at the home crest because it is clean, cost effective, beds are comfortable, rooms well serviced, decent showers and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
the breakfasts are a little limited, but considering the cost it's acceptable.
traffic noise reasonable given the corner position, but pushbike transports gather in the street and play music until nearly midnight, so suggest asking for back rooms away from the street.
as well, no reflection on the hotel, but people there have this fascination with stupid car alarms chirping and going off from early morning.
the hotel is good and i highly recommend it.
Travel tip:
if you have forgotten anything, you can generally get it across the road that the sm mall which is literally just a few minutes walk. a great burger shop just up the road called backyard burgers has great burgers and good pricing.

my 2-night stay at home crest is good. it's very close to sm and the terminal which makes it convenient to go around the city. they have water stations on each floor and would love to provide hot water when needed. apart from the water tank near my room the first night and the busted light next to the dresser (which they did not get to fix during my stay because people are unavailable), everything's good.

The staff were polite and friendly.
I have stayed in other placesin Davao, but this was all I needed with clean facilities. As usual, there were minor things which could have been better, but then I have been spoilt in other hotels. There could be better shelf space in the bathroom for toiletries. And the shower hot water took a while to warm up. The shower spray could have been better fitted to a wall rail as it was not moveable.
Floor towels should be automatically provided. Overall, small things for overnight, but annoying for longer stays.
Best rooms would be away from the street sides. Wifi in the room was good - when it was on.
In general, though good place and will stay there again.
