Great hotel, perfect location, wonderful staff
Big rooms, nice breakfast buffet, great swimming pool

marco polo davao is one amazing hotel. the view from the room, especially the one facing the sea is so beautiful, it's like a painting. love their breakfast buffet. and a huge swimming pool is amazing. security has a strong presence on the property, which adds to the peace of mind. it's the best hotel in the city, hands down.

lovely staff, great service, very good and luxurious breakfast.
but other services very very expensive.
a can of beer is three times the price of the same in a restaurant.
a fruit shake same three times the price of a restaurant , and ten times the price in the mall.
the rooms are much smaller then showen in the photos on the internet, and i felt deceived.
and it is very obvious, as the hotel restaurant at any given night is empty.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat out , never at the hotel.

Davao's greatest!
One of the tallest buildings in Davao, rooms are absolutely looked after, can't fault anything

reception staff were incredibly helpful, hotel transfer prices were reasonable, rooms were clean and clearly been looked after, our room had an amazing view of the pool. a little bar by the reception was very relaxing. they had security checks before entering the hotel, which made us feel very safe. and lastly, very close to the shopping centre!
would stay here again!

I'll sure choose this hotel when I get back. The hotel is a bit old, but it is still ok, could use some re-interior just as an upgrade. But classic look still could do. Maybe lights can be made brighter so it will look more lively.
