The Best Lodging in Davao
Great fitness center and restaurant. Rooms are exceptionally clean.

I was as always, very pleased with my stay at the Marco Polo. This was my sixth time staying there and I continue to be very impressed with the level of service and cleanliness offered by the Marco Polo. The Fitness Center is excellent and the restaurant is quite good, albeit a little pricey.
Hotel Feature Tip:
the hotel shuttle runs approximately every half hour to and from the airport. The trip takes 25 min. so be sure to ask about the departure times in advance and plan ahead.

Lobby is better than the Room

i think that it is overpriced for the condition of the room. it was clean, but just not worth the money in the philippines. very convenient location for davao, which is a massive city.

There were 30 of us in the group and we booked 10 rooms. When we checked in at around 4pm, some of the rooms were still unavailable. We had to wait for 30 minutes before they could check us in. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay. Fitness center is great. The location is not bad as well. Food is average.

I have stayed there in the past, and the Marco Polo always excels in customer service. Unimpressed with the buffet breakfast--over priced for just a standard breakfast buffet--omlette sent back for not being completly cooked, was still undercooked when returned to me. Nice hotel, but beginning to show its age---needs a little work, but still very nice.
Restaurant Tip:
Restaurant is only average, will do much better in price and quality eating elsewhere.

average hotel compared to 4 star hotels in manila or makati. the gym and pool were acceptable. there's a shuttle service outside the airport , but you have to pay for it per person. beware as they include all kind of tax and services on your bill, and they won't tell your right off the bat. room internet was not free. the breakfast was acceptable, did not have much variety.they serve the same breakfast everyday. the rooms seemed a little old, but the staff and service were exceptionally great. the gym and pool were good. location was ok. souvenir stores were just outside the hotel. malls are taxi away.
Restaurant Tip:
No nice restaurant close-by

I stayed for 2 nights together with 2 adults and 1 child. I enjoyed the early morning swim. I also loved the varieties for the breakfast buffet. The only problem was the parking area was not easily accessible. We needed to take elevator, stairs, then walk several levels inside the car park to reach the car.
Shopping Tip:
Aldevinco opposite the hotel is a good place to look for pasalubongs.

Great hotel
The view at the pool area is superb. Room is spacious enough and very comfortable

we enjoyed our stay here, rooms are ok, but might need some renovation (on going). it is strategically located in the heart of city. friendly staff, but service is a bit slow, we ordered food at the lobby lounge, but it arrived almost two hours, but its worth the wait. definitely staying here the next time around
