Marco Polo Davao is currently the highest structure in the whole of Davao City at 15-stories high. It is considered a landmark since it is one of the older hotels but still famous to locals and tourists who would need a room to stay for a night or two. It is walking distance to souvenir shops, money changers and one or two restaurants which one should visit. It is located at the central business district area, hence traffic can be a challenge. However, cabs are not difficult to get and cab fare is relatively inexpensive. One can easily talk to English-speaking drivers to get you to Torres St for their famous row of restaurants, or to SM Lanang or Abreeza malls, the two more complete and newer malls in the city.

A hotel in the middle of the city

The place is right in the middle of the city. You are only 5-15 mins away from any mall, hospital or restaurants from this beautiful hotel. The food is really good. They have a swimming pool. The staff are pretty nice and accommodating. The hotel room is really clean, especially the toilet.

we only stayed overnight at the hotel. all their facilities are excellent and clean. their crew will welcome you with a smile. i did not have a chance to experience their food since we have an early flight in going to manila. the hotel is near to most of the atm machines, and a mall on which you can buy your pasalubong.

Breakfast buffet has a wide selection and not only limited to Filipino dishes. It is good that they serve cold cuts and selection of cheeses too!
Hotel staff are friendly and you will be greeted with a genuine smile anywhere they see you in the hotel vicinity.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Not to forget the very comfy bed quilts which makes you not want to get up and sleep some more!
Shopping Tip:
Aldenvico is the famous shopping area and is just next to Marco Polo hotel.
