Great Location and Clean Rooms
Clean rooms. Attentive staff. Walking distance to restaurants. Near to the mall.

value for the price. rooms are big and clean. make sure you book the ground floor rooms because there are no elevators although the hotel only has 2 floors. walking distance to restaurants and 10 minutes to the abreeza mall by taxi. i have been booking this hotel eversince and would definitely stay with them whenever i am in davao.

This hotel was a favourite throughout my travels in the Philippines. The staff were excellent no matter what time of day or night. The room was amazing and extremely comfortable, could even make a cup of coffee at any time. All other hotels we stayed at didn't offer this option, no kettle or coffee cups or coffee. The location was brilliant, lots of things around and public transport was just a step out the door. Eating places around were excellent quality as was the food in the hotel's breakfast inclusion. I would definitely come back to this hotel again!!

The Hotel is very near from the shopping centers.
Only around 15 mins drive to the airport.

Hotel Staff were accomodating. Hotel guard was helpful since he was able to retrieved my celphone left inside the taxi.
Restaurant Tip:
When ordering food, it's best to ask the waiters on what's the best seller on the menu.

Everytime my entire family visits Davao we always stay at Microtel and get (3) rooms, (2) persons per room. :) We absolutely love the bed in this hotel, the bed is big and comfy. Breakfast is simple but sumptuous. During this stay, as always, we got our usual (3) rooms, the (2) other rooms were fine, but the room my sister and I stayed at was unfortunately along the commercial strip wherein a live band plays during weekends, it was really noisy until 1-2 in the morning, but we love this hotel so much that we didn't exactly mind. It would've been a different story though if it was my parents who stayed in that room. Just a heads up when you check-in, don't get that room if you're sensitive with noise and all.
The location was great, the Ayala Mall is really near this hotel. There was a church close by as well. Across the hotel there's a number of restaurants to choose from, you'll never go hungry. There were housekeeping trainees during our recent stay and they did a lousy and lazy job cleaning the bathroom, they didn't pay attention to the small but important details. However, the main housekeeping were great though. We were happy with the service. All in all, I'll definitely recommend this hotel and will continue to stay here until we'll discover a better one or until their service and the hotel itself deteriorates. For now, we're happy. :)

upon arrival, we waited only for a few minutes, then we can go to our room already.
the bed is nice, the pillow is very comfy, and also the blanket, like in 5 stars hotels.
need to put more air conditioned in the lobby, it's a bit warm there.
the downside is the dining area, the plates and cups were not provided well, poor service here during breakfast time. we stayed there for 2 nights, but we didn't bother to had our breakfast the next morning, cos of the poor service, anyway there are restaurants all around the area.

Convenient to find places to eat, and there is also a grocery nearby.

Personnel are friendly and helpful, and tended our needs promptly; room is clean and well lighted with energy savings- device that help guests become energy-conscious. The location is also close to the airport with its transportation service being very convenient.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
we had a chance to sightsee the eden park and was awesome! i think it was worth the money to pay a taxi for a round trip to see the place and its surroundings. for nature-lovers, i recommend eden park is a must-see place while in davao city. the city is clean and i was impressed of the discipline of its people!
