Perfect location, in general good

For this amount of money Myhotel is very good. Rooms are big and clean, staff is nice but the restaurant service could be better. Internet connection is "in and out" I can not rely on it. Location is perfect, downtown and you can easily walk to peoples park, City hall square and other locations.

the hotel was nice enough for an overnight stay but i think i would upgrade to a larger room next time if i were to have a longer stay. the shower was a little suspect as i ran out of hot water twice.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant across the street "Kusina Dabao" is a good place to eat if you like filipino/chinese food.

good Western food at De Bonte Koe on Rizal Street, one block away from hotel. Next door is Someplace Else, a friendly bar/restaurant with good food and pleasant atmosphere.

hotel staff are nothing special, having said that they are not rude and anything you request will be done.the rooms are good,clean and quiet.the location is excellent.no need for any taxis,right in thr thick of things.i have been to davao 4 times and i came back here evertime.its good.
Nightlife Tip:
Well,it's right on your doorstep, you can't miss it.

the location is perfect especially for travelers like us who really wanted to go around the city center. the service is very friendly and rooms are basic, simple and clean. airconditioning works perfectly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you are going to Samal Island, there are actually two ways: the popular and relatively expensive one (Pearl farm) and the cheap one. If you just want a relaxed afternoon the cheap option can be a good choice. Boat fee is only 60PhP and the entrance to the beach is only. But it was worth it.

Nice Hotel but location could have been better

In general I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and the only real complaint I had was about a certain taxi driver who wrongly presumed my lady friend was a bar-girl and when taking her home asked very improper questions. I put him in his place the next time I saw him by reminding him that in first place it was none of his business and also that my lady friend happened to be the manager of a small motel in Kidapawan, about 40 miles from Davao.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Be prepared to have patience with hotel staff who don't provide a speedy service.

not all staff are friendly like the food attendant in coffee shop we waiting for about 15 mins. nobody assist us,but when a foreigner enter the coffee shop automatically get their order..so sorry for us coz we are filipino...
