Service Oriented Hotel
Fish feeding right outside Samal House
7.7
We arrived Davao at 10AM and have to wait till 1:30PM for the boat transfer to Pearl Farm. All food items found during the luggage inspection have to be stored with the counter and claim on your departure. After registration, we proceeded to their “Captain Bar” for refreshment and lunch which is very comfortable while waiting for the boat transfer.
Restaurant Tip:
There is only one restaurant in Pearl Farm. The daily buffet breakfast included is decent. The dinner buffet is too expensive at P750.00 per person up to P1100.00 per person depending on the varieties being served. The Ala Carte menu has only a few choices.

i had a very memorable stay at this resort. it is definitely recommended for a vacation getaway. the rooms are very unique in a way because they are made of native materials which adds beauty to the place. staff are very courteous and accomodating. if given a chance, i'd definitely go back to this lovely resort
Hotel Feature Tip:
take the hilltop room, seaside view is quite lovely up there

Very tranquil resort... Tropical Paradise
Tropical Architecture, fresh air, beautiful landscape, white beach, peaceful vibe
7.7
We stayed in Pearl Farm for 2 days and we loved the whole experience. The place is very clean, peaceful, with natural elements for building materials, incorporating a tropical Paradise theme. Our room was a cozy air-conditioned "hut" on stilts directly above the sea. From the room, your view is the sea, underneath your feet is pristine water with different colored fishes and corals. It was unlike any resort hotel I've been to. But, if you are searching for a resort with a "fun" and "nightlife" vibe, Pearl Farm may not be the choice for you because it's more of a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere (unlike BOracay.) A bit on the pricey side, but over-all it is a resort experience I will recommend especially for honeymooners / couples.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is a spa if you wish to get a massage and relax. There are also water sports activities like Jetski, speedboat, Island hop etc. By the way, request to be transferred to the other Island to see villas and mini golf course (bring your own clubs though).

This is the best resort/hotel me and my wife stayed, waking up with the sound of sea waves, the houses on stilts is cinematic, superb!!! Food is great!!!
Travel tip:
book thru Agoda to get the best price (with free breakfast is fantastic), reserve Samal House 1 or 2 or 3... on bfast and lunch bring some bread so you can feed the fishes at the small bridge leading to Samal rooms and fishes at Samal house's small veranda

Amazing and relaxing views
The place is very secluded and relaxing
8.7
The place is quite relaxing. A magnificent view of the beach and Malipago island is a great plus. Waddling on the pool is another option if you don't like swimming on the beach. The Mandaya room where I stayed is very cozy and very inviting for a plentiful rest. The buffet is great with so many options, and happened to see the performance of the local traditional dance performers at the sound of 'kulintang' at the dining hall while taking my dinner..It was a great experience.

The Pearl Farm Beach Resort is nice, but not fantastic. The rooms were a bit on the dated side. The resort really needs to hire staff to clean the beach area on a daily basis.
