Impressive Lobby, small room
Breakfast spread, grand lobby, nice pool.

stayed for 2 nights, but found out room has it's own resident black ants. will come out of no where. room was neat but kinda small, smaller still the bath room. big bathrooms are important to me. furniture are nice but the room is abit dingy. very near to dim sum 24hrs and convenience store. you can walk to gaisano mall or take a short tricycle ride. didn't use the pool but took a look at it at the fifth floor, abit small but nice design and layout. a lot of rooms for improvement.

Qualified recommendation for a good hotel.
Nice new hotel, well-kept premises, friendly staff. Room for improvement.

Good:
+ New hotel
+ Entrance bright and cheery, well-kept facilities
+ Early check-in allowed, didn't have to wait until 2:00pm
+ Staff friendly but not intrusively friendly
+ Oasis in a rather dodgy area
+ Near mall and eateries
+ Substantial breakfast
+ Good and effective in-room air-conditioning
+ Nice small pool and spa
Gripes:
- Surrounding area rather dodgy but still safe
- No in-room kettle
- No in-room hair-dryer
- No in-room basic stationery such as pens and writing paper
- No in-room safe deposit box
- No bathtub, just a standing shower
- Needed to buy my own power socket adapter for non-American appliances
- Keycard extremely flakey, need to approach reception to re-encode keycard each time I need to re-enter my room. Very inconvenient. The other guest don't seem to have the same problem. The problem persisted even after I changed my room.
-- Flies landing on unused cutlery and food in the dining area. I took a photo of three such flies. Not good.
-- Cockroach on bread basket and toaster. Not good.
- Cable TV signal outage
- General power blackout on last day, partial emergency power restored within 30 minutes. Receptionist called to apologize. Good.
Overall:
+ Generally pleasant and enjoyable stay despite the gripes.
+ Hotel needs to improve its standards to meet the standards expected of a three-and-a-half star hotel.
+ Recommended with some reservations.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is very conveniently located about two blocks from a fairly nice mall.

good business hotel or good for families & couples
good location if want to be downtown across from gloriata Mall

stayed in 2 rooms at this hotel when parents came to visit and is a good hotel with weddings being held and also good for business travelers. pool at hotel is ok but doesnt get much sun on 2nd floor but has a hottub as well, closes at 10 pm.
Shopping Tip:
glorieta mall is right across the street but easy to take taxies to many other shopping areas as well

the room was clean and for the money was a decent value, but there are no extras like mini bar and safe. also there is no counter top space in the bathrooms which makes it a little hard for two people to place sundry items. overall clean and ok value but don't expect anything fancy or extra.

pinnacle hotel was situated in a very convenient location in davao. taxis were abundant and the staff were just great! our favorite hotel in davao was the marco polo but it was not available and so, we opted to try pinnacle. the bed, the ambiance, the room amenities and the view were definitely not as good as marco polo but the price difference made up for the lack of these. the service though, was a lot better than marco polo! definitely value for money in this hotel!my husband and i have discovered a new place in davao and will definitely be switching to this hotel in our future stays.
Restaurant Tip:
The best ones are in Abreeza Mall. Great choices...
