The hotel is not that fancy. everything in the room is just a simple as it is. small television, small cabinet, so-so bathroom and bed. the hotel is only good for viewing of the arts but not for staying.Though the personnels were very accomodating.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the Hukad restaurant. It only cost cheap and yet the service is great and food taste wonderful. It located in Ableeza mall.

when we arrived, i think there were no more basic rooms that will be available until sunday.
good thing the owner was there, she was very kind and hospitable.
she upgraded all our rooms with no additional fee!
Hotel Feature Tip:
make sure to check out all the floors of the hotel.
there are interesting artworks at all levels.
it would also be wise to get a taxi going there if you are a group of 8 or less.

It's a pretty basic room. The art all over the hallways is cool but can sometimes make you dizzy. At least that's how I felt. Staff was accommodating. Walking distance from the nearest mall.

a very unconventional hotel in davao city. nice location as it is near the main road and three shopping malls. also acts as an art gallery as there are a lot of artworks displayed throughout the entire hotel. although rooms are a bit old already, it adds to the mystic feeling of the place. rooms are also quite small but if you are in a budget and you just need a place to rest, you should definitely check out this hotel. the manager and staff are also very accommodating.
Nightlife Tip:
The hotel is also near Torres Street which comes to life during night time.

Kitschy/quirky hotel w/great ambiance!

My buddy who'd never been to Davao before loved the place, ( he's "into" art )! This place has been designed/decorated top t bottom by an eccentric/eclectic artist,and some of his prolific works are pretty amazing! The rooms are a little dated and showing a little wear, but for the price, and with the place being clean and secure, who can complain!?! It's in a quiet residential neighborhood, but only five minutes walk from anything you'd need at the plazas surrounding the Ayaala Abreeza Mall, and the older, Victoria Mall. Groceries, drugs, toiletries, airline offices, bus tickets, fast food, laundries, coffee shops, souveniers, are all right there.
Nightlife Tip:
Only a five minute walk to the local's favorite resto bar, Guitarra 8610, or walk another ten minutes down the street, to the K@ bar hopping complex!
