The hotel is good but at first I was a little concerned because it looks a little run down. But this was only an aesthetics problem as I came to really like the place. The room was not as comfortable as I would like but it wasn't a big problem. What I really liked was the restaurant out on the peer. The food and ambiance was fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Insular hotel. It is the perfect place for my new born grand daughter as the hotel has a a wide lawn, pool area and garden beside the Davao Gulf. I am so happy that my grand daughter can enjoy the morning sun without having to inhale all the pollution of the city. The front desk staff are very, very accommodating. If your interest is to enjoy a good rest, this is the perfect hotel as it is tucked away from the busy city center. However, if your purpose is to visit sites in Davao and go shopping, this hotel is a bit inconvenient. I will definitely go back to this hotel. And next time, I will reserve a deluxe room as it has a much better view.

when I go to Davao I stay at the Waterfront Insular it is very nice gated resort/hotel with friendly service. I have stayed there twice and both times was great.

the staff at the insular waterfront hotel in davao city philippines are very polite and offered great service. we were offered complimentary junior suite and executive suite for our stay at the same rate as the superior deluxe rooms which we vouchered through you agency.it would be a great asset if you offered these through you on-line service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit Pearl Farm. A beautiful island paradise retreat or visit Eden, a sanctuary of wild life and garden beauty.

staff are very friendly but one thing to aware of especially travel with kids is the pool which is a few steps away from the adult pool area which is 10ft deep but overall a place that you can relax.

The hotel and staff were wonderful and they went out of their way to accomodate us to our needs. The hotel is very well located for beach and scenery. Excellent buffet and plentiful selection. Security was very evident and gratifying. We will stay there again when we go back.

we checked-in at 6 pm. we were greeted by friendly hotel staff. we were accommodated with adjoining rooms as we had requested. we had a good first impression of the hotel. the surroundings were green and clean. the rooms, too, were comfortable. breakfast was good. overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We loved the room. Very large and comfortable. The hotel needed am elevator for families with infants, but that was a minor issue. We liked the food and the beach was extremely close. I would recommend to others.
