Good stay at Waterfront Insular Hotel
Private, secured area. Low lying, spread out hotel in large property, relatively good food.

My wife and I had a good 2-day stay at the Waterfront, prior to going over to Samal Island. This is our 3rd stay in Waterfront in 2-3 years and have chosen this hotel because of its secure, private feeling, large property grounds and relatively good food. It's also close to the ferries going over to Samal Island, which is another reason why we choose to stay here.

This is one of the nicer hotels in the area. The food is good here. The morning buffet is one of the best I ever had. The rooms are nice and the pool is nice too. I will stay here again for sure.

i liked the kind of park inside the hotel, between hotel and sea. take a trip to Paradise Island (Samal) for 150 Peso per boat and 100 Peso entry fee. its lovely there and only a few minutes away

A good place to relax

I had a wonderful stay in waterfront insular hotel. breakfast had a lot of variety and delicious too. the staff is helpful and accommodating at all times. the hotel is far from the city. We had to ride taxi to and forth to where we are going. around one hundred twenty pesos every trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
you can always ride bus to other places. ride taxi for faster and easier way.

I have never been in a hotel were I had to transfer 3x in one night. I was so sure after all that if I got what I paid for. I requested to be transferred from where we were because it was to far in the end of the building and no pool view at all! I book specifically the poolview room for that reason. Then we were transferred another room but was informed that we had to be moved because it was noisy due to the fact that it was above where the generators were - then finally in a room where the pool can be seen :)but the tub had obvious traces of plaster and the lampshade was not working!!!The shade was off the main post! I would have expected more from an expensive hotel to have working lampshades. Internet access wasn't free in the bedroom. YOu have to go in the lobby area to access the free connection.

i was in Davado only for one day and use hotel to relax a bit. I was impressed by nice garden and beautifull location. Even is not in city center if you do not want to walk and prefer to take taxi I will recommand you stay here; breakfast was ok, staff willing to help; room was ok, even some need refurbish. I liked the place
