Our stay at Tahanan was good. The name itself tells what you'd feel once you're inside the hotel. It's like a big mansion where you stay with your the whole family or even the whole of your clan. It's like living with your grandparents all over again wherein you'd feel the warmth and hospitality of your ancestral home. I would recommend the hotel for family reunions and business seminars/conferences. The spacious veranda is also a good place for simple parties and get-togethers.

Since I am dying to escape the city, it really did served its purpose. I mean, its a short drive from the city, and voila! I was able to tame my senses to a deep and relaxing soul-search. The Biking around the lake was a plus!
