Have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been satisfied. bfast buffet is plenty with wide variety of food offered. May seem pricey but considering you get a 2 br suite, nicley furnished and spacious with bfast buffet to boot- beats the reg hotel room in the nearby 5star hotel.
Also secure and private amidst the chaos in the area of the mall.
Highly recommended.

I chose this hotel because it's close to airport (only 20 mins by taxi), when I arrived, i found it's also convenience to go downtown (40 mins by taxi), and the taxi in Philippine is so cheap! the facilities is good, service is nice, always with smile and helpful, I'll definitely stay again if I come back.

Home away from home
Simply awesome location, right on top of Glorietta 4.

from check in to check out, it was simply an excellent stay. reservations were all in order and the front desk aid was one of the best i have ever experienced in the philippines.
the room was even nicer than expected. huge. very clean with all the amenities anybody would want from a couple night to a month long stay. i was really impressed with how quiet it was.
if i honestly had the money, i would live here full time!

studio room in ascott is spacious and well equipped esp the kitchen you prepare anything there just like at home. beacuse it is spacious and big you barely hear any noise from the corridor unlike other hotels i had been. cleanliness is properly observed. room has dvd player so very convenient for music lovers, but it would be a lot better also if the hotel could provide an ipod dock each room.
Hotel Feature Tip:
swimming pool is huge so good to do some laps.

Overall staying in this hotel is ok, we have encountered problem on our billing. They were charges on our phone, which we did not even make a call at all. The time it was made was when we were not even there, also the day of the incident our room was not completely clean they forgot to put towels.

my family of 5 enjoyed their initial stay in manila partly because of the convenience that we experienced staying in this hotel right smack in the middle of glorietta. definitely a better value than renting a 2 br in shangrila or dusit thani. breakfast was excellent. we liked it so much, we decided to use them again when we had an unexpected 4-day extension of our stay during our trip. we will stay there again next time.
cons: furnitures need refurnishing/replacement. for some reason, our internet connection during our first stay was really crappy, but much better during our 2nd stay. maybe it has something to do with the location (difference bet the 2 towers?).
Shopping Tip:
everything opens after 10am, so wake up late, or spend most of your time in the hotel's cafe, or Bo's coffee across the street. they have free wi-fi thank God

great hotel, great service

no comments about the hotel. we have comments about agoda because i sent you an email telling you we had cut our stay short instead of leaving on the 19 we left on the 18th as we had something urgent in kl. when we arrived at the hotel we told them at the check in desk but they could not do anything because agoda collected payments thru credit card.
