Centrally located apartment style living

We stayed for 5 days at the Ascott Makati during the busy holiday season. It was so conveniently located to all shopping establishments and bars and restaurants that we walked everywhere, and avoided taking taxis, as traffic was at a crawl in the Makati and surrounding areas. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous throughout our entire stay. We felt secure at all times. The daily buffet breakfast as well as room service was great, our room was extremely spacious at over 500 sq.ft and with full kitchen and washer and dryer. It was a very pleasant stay from beginning to end.
Restaurant Tip:
The surrounding Greenbelt 1 through 5 malls have excellent restaurants, with a variety of cuisine to choose from.

I stayed in a 1 room executive room and my general impression is the room is clean and has all the comfort of any 5 star hotel room. Since its an apartment (a first for me) it had all the facilities and was well equipt.
Hotel Feature Tip:
When I made the booking with Agoda, I selected the category inclusive of breakfast but some how I was questioned with regards to this at the front desk.
Although, in the end, the front desk staff agreed to include the breakfast, I am surprised that hotel did not know the details of my booking with Agoda.
By the way, breakfast was not great.

Apartments have everything you could ever need. Like living at home but with service.

The apartments are amazing. location second to none, but staff in the cafe are the only let down.Slow service, and unless you are Ascot management you will never get one close to your table . Sadly every day started this way at breakfast which began to annoy us after a 3-4 days.Why management get service over paying guests shows the arrogance of some chains not to come into the modern era.
Other than this, the hotel was sensational. Great pool, great facilities.

overall the hotel was nice but could use some updating. also, the construction in the rooms was poorly done. water would leak onto the floor from underneath the tub, hardwood floors had gaps in between the planks, etc. i couldn't leave food on the counter for more than 30 minutes before it getting attacked by bugs. the location of the hotel, friendly staff, and good breakfast made the stay more enjoyable.

It is more than what we expected. It was a pleasant experience for me and my family. I have no previous idea that there is a place like this in the middle of a busy shopping centers. Before what we knew were big name hotels and I used to stay in one of them until a friend told me to stay in this place. Me and my family will definitely be a repeat customer and that's for sure.

No need to go somewhere else. Great shopping centers at walking distances.

The Best Hotel in Ayala Center

have previously stayed at joya lofts in rockwell, but wanted to try something new. being in the philippines for about 2 weeks, you really want to do your laundry especially when in a warm tropical setting. looked around for something similar and found ascott. me and my boyfriend fell in love with it. the hotel is exceptionally beautiful, all the front desk persons are super friendly. i'd like to point out carol, who was so nice enough to put me and our other friend on the same floor, and gave us complimentary breakfast on the next stay. we had to check out and move to h20 hotel for the sake of being closer to a friend's wedding venue. so when we returned to ascott for 2 more days, our room included free breakfast. the location is wonderful. i can't wait to go back to manila. we are for sure staying at ascott again. we rave about it to all our friends.
Hotel Feature Tip:
A washer and dryer is included with the room. It comes in handy when you are in a very warm and humid country and want clean clothes at the push of a button.
