Location is convenient to shopping malls.
Room needs to be renovated with new furnishings and new decors & curtains.
I've not seen the hotel restaurant and check-in counter should be infront of the hotel and should not be at the back. Counters should be readily accessible to customers.
Shopping Tip : a few minute walk to Greenbelt & Glorietta.

it's really near the green belt, and easy for shopping and dinning. also it's not very far from the airport.
the "lobby" is too simple and hard-finding, and the accommodation is really out of date.
the room rate is not expensive, the bed is so soft. but it's fit for the bag-tourist. just for a one-night-sleep.
Shopping Tip : only need 5min to the green belts, a big modern shopping mall, and lots of restaurants for different food.
PS, do not try the Jollibee unless u r the food-never-minded.

The hotel is close to all business entities; in the heart of Makati. Great food all around you.
The room is a little is a little out dated and old. Need some updating.
We enjoyed this hotel, We really had no problem at all and would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoy shopping, this hotel is just by a major mall. You don’t need a taxi, just a block away. Also if you like night life, it’s close to one of the best night club in Makati (Havana club). The breakfast is OK, not the best.
Shopping Tip : Close to major shopping center in Makati.

Dark, old and dusty. Falling apart. Hasn't been renovated since it was built.
Very much in need of an update. Very noisy, can hear the water pipes rattling and doors slamming all day and night. Window blinds don't do a thing, so you wake up at sunrise. No light or switch near the bed, have to get up to turn it on or off. Only one elevator for 26 story building. Minimal amenities. Absolutely NO Internet availability. There are better places to stay, even at this price.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't stay here. Probably the worst among the "Mansions" in Makati.

Very good value, good location in Makati (Manila), nice clean updated room, breakfast included, small, but nice roof-top pool.
NONE - other then this one temporary issue: Of the 2 elevators servicing this 30 story building, one was down for maintenance (during my stay) making for much longer then normal wait times for the other one.
I stayed at the Asian Mansion ll for a week at the end of August 2008. It's a nice, clean place about 4 blocks (about 5-7 minute walk) from the Green Belt Mall (many shops & restaurants).
The Landmark Department store is adjacent to the Green Belt and has a full grocery store on the basement level. The Glorietta Mall is also near by (less then 5 minutes walk beyond the Green Belt).
My "superior room" was large, clean and updated. Nice with hardwood floors and a kitchenette for those who may want to cook. It's not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but is a solid 2 star (or almost 3?), but is very nice for the money ($50 US per night). The Prince Plaza ll (2 blks away - same management co.) nearly the same, but a little "older" feeling and no pool.
Restaurant Tip : Many shops and restaurants with a 10 minute walk, a few restaurants across the street (one min walk). 7 Eleven next door.

Location, location. CLose to Greenbelt and walkable to the heart of Makati.
Place was clean but wow...they should strip all the old wallpaper coming off the walls and just repaint the rooms. Give the place a fresh look.
Instead of making breakfast available and served in styrofoam containers, better to have a coffee machine at the reception area between 6-11 AM. Forget the food, credit towards a doughnut or something next door at the 7-11 for 20 pesos is better. Food was chewy and poorly prepared - not a good thing especially when outside restaurants are only a block away.
Restaurant Tip : Don't order hotel food. Take a five minute walk and have your choice of restaurants and cuisines from fast food to nice sit-downs.

Very pleasant experience and extremely good value for the money. We will surely be back here!! In this part of the city it's quite convenient and you will find all the facilities very close, even a small supermarket next door open 24 hours a day, all week.
Shopping Tip : All very close at walking distance.

Good for long term (2-3 weeks dental/medical)budget traveller, walking distance 10 minutes to Makati Medical Plaza, corner of Amorsolo/DeLa Rosa Street, saves taxi/traffic hassles everyday. Close to Greenbelt, Landmark, Glorietta shopping malls, safe location, minimum street hawkers.
