spacious and clean bedroom suites, safe and nice neighborhood, proximity to several shopping malls,decent food and friendly staff, in-room safe, shuttle service to the malls tight bathroom, not a lot of taxi drivers know the hotel ( I believe the hotel is quite new) Though the staff did not allow me to check in earlier than 2PM, they were accommodating enough to hold my bags for me while I did some errands. The place was clean and appeared to have modern furnishings. Even the paint colors were pleasing. The surrounding area looked safe and made me feel like I could walk around at night without any worries. I highly recommend this place.

Spacious accomodations, efficient check in and check out Wood interior needs to be changed to avoid that old feel. Solid dark wood panels would be better than the ones with white streaks that they have right now. The breakfast selection is also standard and not that good. The Astoria Plaza is a favorite place of mine to stay whenever I am in Manila for a short vacation. The rates are better than hotel rates. The rooms are relatively spacious and service is efficient. The wood interior may need upgrading since it gives an old feeling. Overall, I would continue to come back to Astoria Plaza.

Clean and very reasonable price for one bed room.
Nice interior of the rooms.
The Bell boys were very kind and supportful. Also the waiters in restaurant were friendly. AC is noisy. We did check out early in the morning, so we reqested the TO GO breakfast but they said can not, but even same class of other hotel did good survice for our breakfast
requirement. We went to dinner at 1st floor of this hotel, price littel hign and some menu was same as next morning breakfast. Difficult to get Taxi on Sunday. Bed is small for 2 person. This Ortigus area are new. I like this area more than Manila Bay & Makati because Hotel and Shopping Centers are new and feel more local.
I definetely come back this Hotel again for business because nice to have a living room and dining room for our work. Hotel Guests are almost Korean or Thai Tourists and clouded very much at reception because reception is very small space.
If the Spa and massage is more cheaper, much better, I guess.
However, I enjoyed staying this hotel and nice seculity.
Shopping Tip : We love to go to Green Hills Shopping Center

friendly staff, spacious rooms. basement parking - cramped with no ventilation. I was upgraded to a two bedroom suite but the staff locked the second room. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was very spacious and air conditioning was working fine. Very good location (near eating areas). Only drawback was the parking - basement was cramped and hot.

very clean, and spacious. staff are very courteous. the lobby is just small it would be better if they have at least bigger one the astoria plaza hotel in ortigas is actually one of the nicest four star hotel i've ever seen.
their staff is very courteous. the place is big and very clean. nice pool. it was a pleasant holy week vacation. food in their buffet was excellent we really did enjoy our three days and two nights stay.
Shopping Tip : very close to the shopping areas like shangri-la mall
