the room was spacious, the kitchen was equipped and the hotel was well-maintained.. Staff was helpful and courteous.. the elevator lobby was a bit warm for my liking.. we booked a one bedroom suite but was upgraded to a two bedroom suite.. that's cool, my friend and i had fun staying overnight.. we had several friends who came over for dinner and it was a success.. the hotel is near malls and very accessible to commuters. the bedroom was spacious and clean. the kitchen was well-equipped so we did not have a hard time cooking for our guests..
Hotel Feature Tip : if you're interested in cooking, you could use the kitchen instead of dining out.. do your grocery shopping at nearby malls or convenience stores and invite some friends over for some intimate and simple dinner..

Fantastic rooms (1bedroom)
Nice entry hall and good looking restaurant, lift work good, and the staff are nice - The check in took really long,
- lack of taxi
- faraway from the malls (walking)
- neighbors where very noisy and unpleasant Good looking hotel from the inside nice staff, room was really excellent, they got a nice gym and swimming pool. i stayed there for 5 days, i had a early check in, they told me there wasn't a room free but it would be around 1 pm, well it toke longer (1á 2 hours waiting) another thing was getting a taxi, difficult! also distant to Mega Mall was to big for walking compare to other hotels. But eventually it was a nice and pleasant stay !!

* Very big room!
* Comfy bed
* Great ambiance - We stayed at the Green Room and I really liked the design. There's a modern feel to the room.
* Flat screen TV at the receiving area, another TV in the bedroom
* Kitchen with sink, microwave, stove and refrigerator
* Very near malls and other establishments

* Have I mentioned that it's a really big room? * Only one parking area per room
* Cramped parking area. The car we used got scraped because of this - be careful when you park
* Small bathroom / comfort room
* The aircon in our bedroom wasn't very cold. It felt like it was only on fan the entire time. The other aircon however (outside the bedroom) was too cold. This is the place to go when you just want to hang out with friends within the metro. It is located near the Ortigas area which can be considered a major district in Metro Manila. It is about 30 minutes away from Makati and even less from San Juan and Quezon City. If you're travelling for business and would like the amenities of a small apartment, Astoria would also be commendable. The room makes sure that it is able to cater to more than just two people, small families will also find Astoria very cozy. Just be careful when parking your car since the parking area isn't very spacious. If you have a big car, make sure to follow the sign and park facing the wall to avoid what happened to us where we scraped the roof of the SUV because of the pipes. The staff are very friendly and accommodating - they made sure to call us and remind us that check-out time is at 12nn which I found endearing. Also, be reminded that Astoria also caters to long-staying guests and have some units rented out as apartments so always be on your best behavior so as not to disturb them. If you're staying in a smoking room, make sure to stay confine yourself to the kitchen area since the room will end up smelling like smoke after a while. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Astoria and will be back for sure with friends.
Restaurant Tip : If you suddenly crave for food in the wee hours of the morning, you can try Rodic's nearby which is open 24/7 and they deliver too. For other establishments - head over to Megamall or Shangri-la or Pearl Drive near UA&P for other choices.
