Great Stay

we booked a one bedroom suite but was upgraded to a two bedroom suite.. that's cool, my friend and i had fun staying overnight.. we had several friends who came over for dinner and it was a success.. the hotel is near malls and very accessible to commuters. the bedroom was spacious and clean. the kitchen was well-equipped so we did not have a hard time cooking for our guests..
Hotel Feature Tip:
if you're interested in cooking, you could use the kitchen instead of dining out.. do your grocery shopping at nearby malls or convenience stores and invite some friends over for some intimate and simple dinner..

Good looking hotel from the inside nice staff, room was really excellent, they got a nice gym and swimming pool. i stayed there for 5 days, i had a early check in, they told me there wasn't a room free but it would be around 1 pm, well it toke longer (1á 2 hours waiting) another thing was getting a taxi, difficult! also distant to Mega Mall was to big for walking compare to other hotels. But eventually it was a nice and pleasant stay !!

This is the place to go when you just want to hang out with friends within the metro. It is located near the Ortigas area which can be considered a major district in Metro Manila. It is about 30 minutes away from Makati and even less from San Juan and Quezon City. If you're travelling for business and would like the amenities of a small apartment, Astoria would also be commendable. The room makes sure that it is able to cater to more than just two people, small families will also find Astoria very cozy. Just be careful when parking your car since the parking area isn't very spacious. If you have a big car, make sure to follow the sign and park facing the wall to avoid what happened to us where we scraped the roof of the SUV because of the pipes. The staff are very friendly and accommodating - they made sure to call us and remind us that check-out time is at 12nn which I found endearing. Also, be reminded that Astoria also caters to long-staying guests and have some units rented out as apartments so always be on your best behavior so as not to disturb them. If you're staying in a smoking room, make sure to stay confine yourself to the kitchen area since the room will end up smelling like smoke after a while. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Astoria and will be back for sure with friends.
Restaurant Tip:
If you suddenly crave for food in the wee hours of the morning, you can try Rodic's nearby which is open 24/7 and they deliver too. For other establishments - head over to Megamall or Shangri-la or Pearl Drive near UA&P for other choices.

wonderful stay at Astoria Plaza
the room was nice and very spacious. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Facilities were complete. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I was a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It was also near a convinient store were you could buy anything you need. Red Ribbon and Santis were just beside it so you can eat whatever you like. It is also near ShANGRILLA mALL. Staff were very accommodating and they had very nice rooms. The pool was nice too. Food was delicious and housekeeping were very friendly. I would choose to stay again at Astoria Plaza. Price was very reasonable.

I was very pleased with my previous stay in Astoria Plaza. Upon arrival, the front desk personnel who assisted me was very accommodating and friendly. I requested for a room at higher floor and he gave me one at the 31st floor. The room was very spacious and clean. I almost didn't want to get out of bed because the view of the city from my room is sooo excellent. The tv in the room is quite small but it's an lcd tv so it's still ok. I was also very satisfied with the courtesy and good service of the hotel staff.
Choices for breakfast in the buffet is not that much but considering the price of the room, I would say the breakfast is still ok.

the hotel is near the commercial area which you can take a taxi from. it's near the main malls like Megamall, Shangri-la plaza, robinsons galleria. the room was very nice, it was clean and i was able to cook since all the utensils were complete as well as the pots and pans.

Astoria offers spacious units with simple and classy furnishing. Big windows offer a city view. (We just weren’t that lucky because our room happened to be situated across another building.) The bathrooms are clean even if they are not new. All the basic needs are provided for, including dishes (even if one does have to pay extra for a dishwashing sponge!) I like that there is free wifi in the rooms.
Check-in and check-out was quick. They also have an efficient parking scheme (if one has a car), assigning you a specific spot upon entry. Otherwise, there is a main thoroughfare that’s a few feet from the entrance of the hotel. Major shopping malls are also located within a 10-15minute taxi ride.
Location is ideal. There is a ministop in the next building for emergency needs, a Santi’s deli next door for take-home snack and a Red Ribbon Bakeshop across the street for quick meals. The hotel also has a restaurant but it seems cheaper to eat out.
Shopping Tip:
If you are a tourist, go to Tiendesitas (about a 15 minute taxi ride) for reasonably priced Philippine-made products.
