Hotel was well run
The hotel is right across the street from the embassy

The hotel was fairly modern, but is run down. The rooms were not that great and a motel 6 would be better. The bed was hard as a rock, so not the best. They charged you for wifi and the breakfast was so so. The location is the best because we could walk to the embassy from there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
US Embassy is right across the street and within walking distance.

Very nice hotel
Very clean room and friendly staff.

they upgraded our room, which was very nice and the room was just perfect. dinning was also very good. this hotel is right across from the us embassy which is nice. easy to get a taxi, but watch out for the hotel van which can take you to the airport etc, they will charge you. the airport from this hotel cost about or so. when i go for my next appt at the va clinic i will be staying at this hotel again,,, a very nice hotel.

true. service with a smile. great location too.
very clean and no foul smell inspite of it being an old hotel.

the only problem we encountered was that on the first nite there was no power except for 2 lights in the bathroom & foyer. we were told there was a power failure and meralco was fixing it, but we were not informed about this, we had to call operator. also, when power was restored we were not informed until again we checked with operator. generally, the stay was okay.

Great location but without free wifi

upscale restaurants lined-up the corner of adriatico and remedios streets with the opening of landmark restaurants like the cafe adriatico, larry's bar and the korean village.
visual and performing artists found a haven in malate and in the 1980s, the open and nonexclusive watering hole for artists was penguin bar along remedios street fronting the remedios circle. further along remedios street is the m chereville hotel, for those who want the quiet and seclusion, nestled in the pulsating heart of manila.
for a period of time, malate was the place where artists, poets, writers, actors, and film industry professionals gathered, where there was no degree of hypocrisy practiced, just the basic rule of "come and be yourself, express yourself."
despite the reign of a dictatorial regime in the 1970s into the 1980s, the glitzy life in malate flourished and more into the later part of the 1980s.
Nightlife Tip:
Night clubs, bars and discothèques started to sprout along the Malate portion of M.H. del PIlar, Mabini and Adriatico streets.

"roaches everywhere"
very convenient location, walking distance to restaurants and food shops

disgusted with the # of roaches. At least the Bathroom is nicely updated, very spacious. We only stayed for a night but booked for 3 rooms. We frequent this place with every of our travels.This is first time i've seen roaches. My daughter keep screaming.

i really love my stay.. the rooms is great.. complete ammenities, staff are friendly, breakfast is good, but so common...theres one thing i noticed.. at the lobby.. there is no waiting area? atleast a sofa to sit on while you we're waiting to be pick up.
Nightlife Tip:
the locations are great... nightlife are nearby..just a walk away...
