the personnel are acommodating.my mom had a restful sleep for 3 days. accessible to the us embassy, food was oily
just the roaches. I saw not once but twice. in the bathroom and the dressing table
bayview plaza hotel is the most accessible hotel when you have transactions at the near by us embassy. the staff are acommodating and respectful. housekeeping is also prompt.we had a restful sleep with my mom& she was able to hear mass at near by ermita church. even if it is a non view of the bay area, we did enjoy the back view scenery. he,he,he. the next time we will visit the big city.,we might be staying at the bay view. . .
Restaurant Tip : accessible to mall of asia and restaurants near by. esp the ermita church.

Conveniently located to airport and shopping; staff polite & professional; hotel services good
A bit pricey for the Philippines
Hotel services such as laundry and transportation for airport and shopping are very convenient, but pricey - avoid them if you don't need them, but the services are dependable. Internet available at front lobby/restaurant area and reasonably priced. Rooms are small, but clean - competitively priced for Manila, but high compared to other parts of the P.I. Free breakfast buffet has a fair variety of food and is good.

this hotel is obsessed with their towels. I borrowed an extra towel and the front desk was calling me at 1130pm to see if i still had it lol. And there not even nice towels, there old. I had 1 towel that was so worn out and had holes in it. I thought it was a slice of swiss cheese. this hotel area has become run down and so many homeless people and kids live around it. if you go to 7-11 across the street you will see what i mean. the shower works good though, plenty of water pressure and hot water. the rooms are getting run down . Also every TV remote control is missing the plastic battery cover.

Very convinient as there are Starbuck,7-11 and 24hrs restaurant just 3 min walk from the hotel. Near to Mall of Asia and you can see the sunset every evening as the hotel is facing manila bay.The staff are very helpful and knowledgable.
Fixture in the room are abit old and the room is abit small for triple sharing.Especially the bathroom not so comfortable.
However I will recommend to stay @ Bayview Park Hotel, Manila as the hotel is very convinient to Robinson Place,Mall of Asia and got a few shop nearby like starbuck,7-11 and Yellow Cab Restaurant. The breakfast was quite a spread and nice.It value for money also.Staff very friendly and approachable too.

Nicely decorated
very comfortable
very clean
no cons, everything was very nice
Though repairs were being made to the room next door, I have no major complaints. The room exceeded my expectations at what I consider a reasonable price. The check-in and check-out processes were very efficient, the room appointments were pleasant and I would stay there again in my future travels to Manila - thank you Bayview Park.
Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel was selected for nearness to the U.S. Embassy, and it was very convenient.

My wife was challenged every time she was by herself as like she was a bar girl! Food wasnt good. The staff wasnt nice. Room wasnt vary clean for the price that i paid.
You can find a much better hotel for cheaper prices. I wasnt happy with the place at all. That was my third hotel and the other two was all ready booked so i tried it there for couple nights.

great staff service, good location and nice cafe
carpet a bit old and tatty but otherwise a nice stay. no wifi in the rooms
I needed a place for a 2 night stop-over while in Manila and I chose the Bayview Park hotel. The hotel was clean, tidy, with a nice reception area and great staff. The stay was enjoyable and the location was handy to everything. I recommend this hotel for someone who needs a no-frills stopover. Wifi in the lobby was reasoably priced at P50 an hour. Late checkout was also reasonably priced.
Shopping Tip : only P40 for a metered taxi to Robinsons mall

The hotel is a good place to stay, my only problem is there is no safe in the rooms which is a real pain.
The hotel is old but on the whole for the price its OK.
Forget breakfast, the food is crap, just go out the door go left then left again and there is a pub called the swagman, the food is good there.
Restaurant Tip : Out the door go right then first right walf up the road 50 mtrs and there is a Chinesse rest on the left, cheap but good food.

We liked the rooms, the food is great, the people that worked there are very helpful.
we did not find anything that we didn't like in the hotel
The hotel's rooms are really nice, very affordable for the price for a really nice room. The maids are very good at what they are doing, everybody in the hotel are very accommodating. Great location. We had a great experience at Bay View. We will definitely come back here and we personally recommend the hotel to our family and friends!

Directly across the street from the US Embassy and right next door to not one but TWO Starbucks.
main elevators are small (8) and in the morning trying to get one is a trial in patience. There are other elevators in the building, but you have to go on safari to find them. Not a big enough con to stay away from this hotel. It is a great value and the staff is very friendly.
The staff is very accommodating and the hotel is a pleasant place to stay. The elevator situation leaves much to be desired and had me wanting to use the stairs for a five story climb and descent on more than one occasion, but much like taking a chance on Jeepneys, you just have to grin and bear it. Overall though this place will be my choice whenever I am forced into Manila on business. Oh, and the breakfast buffett is very nice also.
Shopping Tip : Mall of Asia is just down the road (Roxas Blvd). If you have never been to Manila, FORCE the taxi driver to use the meter and give a receipt. It is now the law in the Philippines and some unscrupulous drivers are evading taxes and overcharging by not using the meter. You can text your driver complaints to the LTFRB number that is on all public vehicles. Don't forget to get his tag number.

No hotel lobby. They need to hire more receptionist to cater to all their guests. They also need to improve on their safety, my sister slipped in the buffet area because of a wet spot. They weren't apologetic about the incident.
No free wi-fi.
Sink clogs easily.
Good value for your money. The hotel to stay if you have to go the the US embassy in manila. Location wise, this is the hotel to be.

The hotel is OK for the money.
Have to say don't get to excited about breakfast its crap even though its free.
When you go out of the hotel turn right then right again, just up the road is a place called the swagman, great place for dinner and a drink.
This Hotel is very old, its clean enough and the staff are OK, I have stayed in better places.
On other thing to consider is it is directly opposite the US embassy.
Nightlife Tip : Just around the corner there are many great bars.
