Very old hotel and smelly

My family and my church family stayed in this hotel to spend the new year and stay here for 2 nights. All I can say is that all is bad. Very old designed and smelly. Money is just waste to stay in this hotel. The fact that my church family is in the upper floor they are more disappointed then I am. And I will never ever go back this hotel ever.

Very bad hotel. Try to find other hotel that worthy

Awesome hotel

Convenient location to everything like restaurants, entertainment places and local shops. Room was big and beds are comfortable. They change the beddings everyday though. Staff were helpful and accommodating . They gave us an extension or a later check out with out any fuss at all. I am willing to go back there when I get back to Manila .And also refer to other tourist or travellers this very good hotel.
I just hope that they will put water heater to the pool cause it was so cold when we plunged one morning before our check out. Other than that , the pool is lovely as well as the jacuzzi .
This hotel is also affordable, the value of money is great apart from its cleanliness.
The food was alright but too small for the value I paid for just a simple fried noodle. What was great was the food that my vegetarian daughter ordered were very good .

Berjaya Hotel is right where the action is! It is near all the right restaurants and even drug store :) I did not expect that it is a very good hotel for a very cheap rate that was given to me by Agoda. (Agoda surpassed again our expectations for recommending a good home away from home.)We used to stay in A Venue and Antel Spa for the new year to avoid the fire-cracker fumes in our neighborhood and we were surprised that we enjoyed our stay in Berjaya.
All the staff are very courteous and alert - all ready to serve! I will definitely refer the hotel to my relatives and friends!!!!
And not only that, their hotel slippers are first class! - even surpassing slippers of 5 star hotels.

We booked two rooms and upon check in was offered a two bedroom suite as an alternative which was a bit of a surprise - we accepted the offer as it was only for one night as we wwere passing through to Boracay the next morning. However, this seemed a bit like a bait and switch but we dont know for sure if this was better than two separate rooms which is what they suggested. Overall the bathroom was 3 star, as was the condition of the furniture, however the beds were fine.

Many small pubs and restaurants walking distance nearby

During our visit in Manila we checked into this hotel twice. The first time the room was quite nice and updated. The second time it felt old and worn. Wifi is supposed to be free but I could never get it to work in either room. Instead I always had to go to the lobby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to some of the big Makati shopping areas.
