Location. Its very easy to find. The rooms are really nice. The security is great. Very safe.
It isnt in the NICEST area. But once the construction is finihsed, it will be nicer. The red light district is nearby, so you get alot of hawkers wandering the street but you arent close enough to the action to see it or hear it.
The hotel is really nice, and its easy to find. Because of the nearby clubbing district, if your taxi driver doesnt speak alot of english, you can still get home!
The security are on the ball, if you have a guest who leaves alone, they call you before allowing them to go, in case they are sneaking out! Very reassuring.
Quality of breakfast high, but the range varies to average to good. The omelettes are fantastic!

shower didnt have hot water, their car /limo picked me up for 800 pesos, at breakfast the person who prepared eggs. omeletes was never there. always had to go to the kitchen to get someone.
I stayed in at this hotel about a year ago before and didnt remember their was not hot water in the shower. I told the staff at the front desk but it still was not hot. The breakfast was ok but could never find the cook for eggs/omeletes. Had to always go into the kitchen to find someone to prepare them, this was frustrating. The internet charge in the hotel was outragious & you can find internet cafes close to the hotel for 25-50 pesos an hour.

Reasonable size room and clean and comfortable
Air conditioning quite ineffective
And a bit of a problem that the mains power was off from 10pm to 6am the following morning
It is a three star hotel so was reasonable value for money. Hot water was only warm, airconditioning was preset at a warm setting and could not be set cooler.
But having said they are the weaknesses it was cheap clean accommodation in a convenient location and an acceptable 3 star hotel
Nightlife Tip : Close to the nightlife of P. Burgos street and a large selection of good eating places

Good location, friendly staff, pretty good breakfast buffet, feels safe inside the hotel, right next to a 7-11 and pharmacy, and well-known by taxi drivers
Wireless Internet was very expensive--the most expensive I've EVER seen (400 pesos per hour or 1000 per day, or about $8/hr, $20/day)
This was a good hotel for my first time in Manila. It is about a mile north of the Ayala and Greenbelt shopping complexes, and it's definitely walkable (or is a cheap taxi ride away, but USE THE METER!). The hotel feels safe, the staff are friendly, the bed and room were comfortable, and I had a nice view. However, the wireless Internet was very expensive--the most expensive I've EVER seen (400 pesos per hour or 1000 per day, or about $8/hr, $20/day). I didn't bother getting it (instead, I went to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations in Greenbelt 3), so I don't know if it even worked well. That is a major turnoff, especially since *most* Best Westerns have free wifi (I knew this one didn't in advance, but still). Also, the hotel car service to the airport was 700 pesos, or about $14 USD, compared to around 130 pesos if you catch a taxi on your own. Of course, taking taxis in Manila is frustrating sometimes (I had to turn down about 90 offers from the taxi driver on the way to the airport for going to massage parlors, gift shops, etc.), but I thought 700 pesos was a bit high (and the car didn't seem too legit anyway).
There is a pharmacy with basic food and drink items in the building (but you have to walk outside), and there's a well-stocked 7-11 across the street. There's a good Chinese noodle place, North Point (I think), across the street, too.
I would stay here again if the price was right. Overall, it was a good stay. The major complaint is the price of wifi.
Shopping Tip : To get to Ayala or Greenbelt, walk south down Makati Ave about a mile (past a gas station on your right and the Mandarin Oriental on your left).

Old, moderately clean, poor service
The Burgeos area of Makati is by far the best for restaurants and night life. This hotel is positioned near the center of the fun. The service is just average and the room just passable for cleanliness. The breakfast is decent and no major complaints for the price.
Restaurant Tip : There is an Italian restaurant behind a bar named Matrix which is excellent (don't remember the name of the restaurant).

It looks better than it is online
I would have to say I was a little disapponted with what the ad looked like and when I was there. The area was not too nice and red light area and always had beggars asking me for money

Location, cleanliness and service
Agoda does not include breakfast in its rate.
Hotel is located in the Makati vicinity, near entertainment, variety of good international restaurants and shops. The area surrounding hotel seems safe as opposed to other areas in Manila.

Good location close to many restaurants.
Showing its age and not very clean. Desk staff were not very helpful or polite. No water pressure in the shower. I stepped in gum in my room's carpeted floor my first night.
I would never stay here again. There was no cable tv for an entire day. I realize that is the cable company's fault. However, I paid cash for the wifi service. When I checked out they charged me again. They took it out of my deposit despite my objections and complaints about the lack of television. Not to mention that 200 pesos an hour is incredibly expensive.
Travel tip : Avenue A right down the street has free wi-fi. Starbucks the opposite direction has wi-fi for 100 pesos an hour.

room was good size, reasonably priced.
Excellent location near Makati nightlife
Hotel is clean and very close to Makati entertainment area. Rooms are fairly large with all the amenities one would expect. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions as well as assistance with travel. Hard to beat this place for the money. Even though it is close to the Entertainment area, the hotel is very quiet and street noise was no problem.

Great location,
Friendly staff,
Good renovated rooms,
Very peaceful in the heart of Makati,
Great value if you book through Agoda
Its old . Make sure you get a modernised room.
The lifts are creaky and slow.
One of the reception staff (male) loves to ruin anyones day. He's a creep and should be replaced but he is probably the owners son!
Thats it!
Its great value and I keep on staying there. The rooms are good and the aircon works. The restuarant is poor but the Lobby coffee shop is ok
The location is great once you've found it because its partly hidden behind the Millenium hotel.Apart from the reception staff and the truly terrible Hotel taxi I have no complaints
Nightlife Tip : You cant get closer than this!
