good hotel but elevators under construction

Everything was ok except the elevator is being under maintenance, because they have given us a room on fifth floor, breakfast was ok, and everybody smiles. And wifi in the rooms is a very good feature

Great location for airport and shopping

i only stayed for 1/n and it was really nice to stay the clean room and use a nice shower since i stayed the really bad hotel in el nido island for a few days. they are fixing their elevator so the room rate was discounted almost half. the breakfast is ok, nothing special but the hotel is close to the main shopping mall and restaurant you can go out.
Shopping Tip:
5-10 min walk to the huge department store.

should take care of cleanliness of the sofa. breakfast was normal.

not advisable to walk around. surrounding area especially.

The hotel is in a good location not far from the international airport.Is near the sea and not far from the Mall of Asia.In the area there shops and restaurants and money changers.Robinsons Department Store is within walking distance.The hotel has nice and clean rooms and the staff is very friendly.The breakfast is good.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the restaurant at the Swagman Hotel.

The hotel was very cheap for the location but no elevator the road noise was a little loud but staff were excellent everything was comfy good wifi good wall adapters, negative is the surroundings a little shady at night and a little hard to find

I expected more from a Best Western hotel with regards to the room. It was simple and relatively small.

the hotel is in a very convenient place, walking distance to rizal park and intramuros. staff is friendly and always with a nice smile. we got upgraded to a bigger room. however the aircondition is quite noisy that we had to switch off at night.

The hotel rooms are on the smaller end, however nicely renovated and effective. Currently the lift is in renovation. It is only a short stroll by foot to Robinson, Bay C., and other party places. However the area of the hotel is run down with touts, beggars, pickpockets, so you should be “streetwise”. The hotel makes sure no guest is entering without ID controlled. Breakfast was not opulent, but fully sufficient.

the service was great. we requested a quiet room and it was very quiet. the hotel is very nice inside, nice restaurant and lobby. free wifi a big plus, free breakfast. nice buffet.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Outside the hotel is not so nice to walk around, but many places are like this. If you want a nicer place to walk around, look into Intramuros area. We stayed there, but the hotel itself was not as nice as the Best Western. I would recommend this hotel highly in Manila.

it seems that the elevator is the main issue here as you have to climb the fights of stairs up and down all day long when you leave the hotel and when you are back in the hotel.
the hotel indicates that the elevator will be ready in late march 2012. for those who cannot take the flights of stairs, stay away from this hotel till early april 2012.
however, do note that other than the elevator, this hotel and its staff is the hotel that i will return to if i'm in manila. actually, i stayed in this hotel for many times before they renovated it in the last quarter of 2011. staff is friendly and will attend to your needs if you explain your requirement.
breakfast quality has improved a great deal now. furnishing in the room had a change over and is looking good.
