dvd in suite, hot tub, just a bit more money for this. near park and historic section. Nice staff, all you can eat breakfast, good dinner places like Munchen, hollinda, An indian place and g-point for drinks all within a couple of blocks nothing about the hotel, but the sadness of the street kids begging and sleeping in the streets is all over Manila and is something mrs. Gloria (the president) should be ashamed of doing nothing about. So much corruption here that one can not be upset at the aggressive nature of these kids as it has become inane to their survival Overall, very nice. close to many things. Dvd in suite, hot tub, just a bit more money for this. near park and historic section. It's fairly well located to Mall of Asia and the Manila Aquirum. and only about 30 mintues or less from airport. Suite are very comfortable and staff very accomindating Only bad point this year is the weather. But that's only controled by mother nature. Great Place to spend some down time with that special person. Suite are very somfortable, staff is very accomindating with your needs an wants.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Mall of Asia is Great.
Manila Aquirum is great time.
Lots of different resurants for a different taste.

Clean and well maintained, in my opinion up to 5 star standards. Very helpful and polite staff. In the centre of the things. Lots of restaurants and entertainment close by. Very slow lift which is a nuisance if your room is located high up. This hotel is very good value for money. It is in the centre of the lively part of Manila with lots of restaurants and night life close by. The hotel offers in room Wi-Fi with high connection speed and the rooms are well maintained and appointed with all conveniences. The staff are very friendly and helpful and do their best to make your stay a pleasant experience. I certainly would recommend this hotel to business people and families who like a cosy atmosphere and do not need an hotel with a huge lobby and a formal attitude.
Shopping Tip : Robinson's Mall is a ten minute walk away. This mall has a good variety of shops and restaurants.

NO FOX NEWS ON TV, shame on you , lol. They used to have it. Well as u can see from other reviews, I stay here a lot. Its really a nice place but they dont have a lot of rooms so if u dont reserve before u go then decide to stay longer, you might not get a room. Check in is quick and easy. Lobby is nice and hotel is close to everything. Free breakfast is excellent. The staff is super friendly . Stay here, you will be happy overall.
Restaurant Tip : Burger Machine is accross street, if you are constipated, eat there, they have a buy 1 take 1 promo. If you buy 1 you will be taking a huge 1 later if you catch my drift lol.

Slow lift to all floors. Staff genuinely anxious to help. Meals in rooms on demand. Romms cleaned daily including fresh sheets. Like other Plilippine hotels the bathroom tiling was very slippery when wet id est during and after showering. Bathroom basin waste fitting did not work properly and nothing was done to correct. Bathroom lighting very poor. Altogether a good value for money hotel. Restaurant on premises but all menues not entirely suitable for English taste. Service was very good with staff anxious to help and provide most things as asked for. Lift went slowly between floors but no trouble. Not in the most salubrious part of town but taxis readily available from outside hotel door called by staff. Standard sufficient that we returned a few days later.
Travel tip : Do not expect a totally English menu.

no pool or workout room or fox news channel they used to have fox news channel here on tv now I couldn't find it on my tv. Anyway, if you want a nice place to stay, then stay at Best Western. You wont go wrong here. I been here many times. For the basics, they cant be beat. Clean room, nice functional shower, nice cold airconditioner in your room. Breakfast is always nice regardless of the other people on here keep crying about the bad breakfast? Dont listen to them, the breakfast is really good, you wont get SICK after you eat. Right there alone is a great thing. OK yes at times its limited and maybe geared for asian culture, BUT your in Asia, hello!!!! LOL but still its good. They have toast, cereal, salad, fruits, pastry/cakes, coffee, juice everyday so eat that if you dont like scongee wongee whatever LOL. Stop complaining, and enjoy life. Oh 1 thing, TIP, give the waiter a little tip, 50 to 100 piso. Same thing with doorman/bell hop. Tip them a 100p these guys are really nice and will help you if you need it. They are really nice, not like other hotels in the area where the door staff try to intimidate you, these guys at Best Western will bend over backwards for you if you need it and just show them a little respect with a 100p bill. I can tell you a story how they helped me big time. I was here with my fiancee, I rented a car. Parking 1 nite on the side of hotel I rubbed up on 1 of the yellow poles that hold the chain in place on side of hotel for their free parking spots. Anyway I put a scratch/mark and some yellow paint got on to the white toyota I rented. Great, now eurocar will charge me 5000p charge for damage right? NO, the guys at front of hotel next day went and bought polishing compound and fixed the damage for me, after they finished you could not see anything, the car was perfect. I said how much? They said (was 2 of them) 180p for the
Shopping Tip : SM Manila is nice. I walk down to Rizal/Luneta park where me and my fiancee met in person for the 1st time ever lol. We go there then cut thru to City Hall and SM Manila is next to City Hall. Its close and nice walk, like 20 mins total. ITs SAFE TOO. Dont be scared. Go shopping and on 5th floor is nice movie theatre, enjoy.

nice architechture. ok area. Unlike Malati and Makate,Ermati is just an area close to the city Manila in old style. So the hotel is obvisely just like the conlonized time. I have been search for a modern chic hotel with reasonal price in Manila, and it was seemed impossible. But at the end of the day, I found this hotel with nice and clean sheets and trandy interior apears on photo. makes no delay, I booked it, and couldn't believe in my eyes that such an old time hotel could be possible have this type of hoe deco. But soon I found out there was couple of other site had published different vision of photos for hotel room interiors and home furnishing. with some curiosity, checked in La Crona. I have to say, the image of hotel room was wrong on agoda site. the room was bit of small and the bathroom was to crowed to everyting, the shower head was too out dated. and the fan was too noisy. the inroom A/C was the type of 30's of New York with a lousy fan. and incredablely with Wi-Fi on room(the best part to me!)

The hotel is very clean, very nice receptionist. Quiet and organized. I did not see anything I disliked. I like this hotel a lot. It was worth every penny. The receptionists were very warm and helpful. Hotel bathroom is very clean. Shopping mall (robinson's) is just a walking distance. The US embassy is less than 5 minutes walk as well. The breakfast food is good. The hotel price is also very reasonable, and worth every penny. Overall my 2 days stay is worth it and never had to go through any hassle, the moment we checked in until we checked out.

Best Western influence means the small things are not forgotten, tissues, tea, coffee. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Competitive pricing. Buffet breakfast is good but sometime not replenished quickly enough. Good position for Robinson shopping mall, taxis, convenient to what tourist sightseeing sites there are in Manila. Free wifi. Stayed dry in recent floods.
Travel tip : Close to Rizal Park for early morning joggers a good length circuit and/or extend onto Roxas Boulevard

the hotel was very modern and new. It was clean and had an in room safe with plenty of clean sheets and towels and the inside of the hotel was very clean and the hotel breakfast was much better than what other reviews had said about it and a great valuse for the money the hotel rooms could be very noisy if you tried to sleep in the day time because of traffic. The best rooms they have in the hotel are right on the corners of the hotels near the street and way too noisy to sleep int he day time so I suggest you get the lower pricved rooms and stay in the back of the hotel where it is very quite but no view. the hotel was very modern and new. great location in the heart of Malate district with tourist services and restaurants nearby.
reasonable value Manila traffic is always frustrating, no specific problems with this hotel. Pleasant, clean and new hotel with professional and helpful staff. Central location with easy access to main tourist attractions of Manila. Buffet breakfast has variety of asian and western cuisine. I would stay here again as the location and facility are excellent. The price is reasonable and this hotel is recommended for budget travellers that appreciate basic comforts such as Aircon.

They give you free newspaper!!! I stay here many times. Its nice. Believe me if I go back to a place then you know its good. I hate bugs , if I see a bug I will never go there again. Also I like it ice cold in my room and clean. This place has this quality, clean, cold a/c, no bugs, comfortable bed, free wifi in your room!!!!, near US Embassy and St Lukes extension clinic. DONT go to the casino anywhere in Philippines, they rip you off, its all rigged. If you really want to throw away money then send to me hehehe or give to homeless families outside on street.

CLEAN , everything is nice and clean I stayed here so many times, read my other reviews. This place is great. Its reasonable price and location are just great. I always stay here and never have complaints like other places in the area i stayed at. I wish they had a swimming pool though. The hotel is safe, area is safe, and everything is very close by or taxis are always waiting for you out front. Ask price up front on taxi because like most filipinos, if your a foreigner they automatically assume you are a millionaire. They try to rip you off. Dont ever pay more then 200p on a trip less then a few miles away. Or insist on a meter taxi. I try to explain to them that millionaires wont waste their time going to Philippines LOL , millionaires go to places like monaco or paris, or fiji or hawaii hehehe.
Restaurant Tip : wendy's nearby is good or chinese rest accross park from wendy's is good.
