If your going to manila and have to go to the US Embassy this is a good place for you to stay its close and walking distance only and not just that its closer to the malls too..

overall the hotel is very good
- Nightlife Tip : just outside the door but be wary with all those hawkers around especially if you are a foreigner they will try to "sell" whatever they are selling but it is generally safe in the area

Can't believe this little gem of a hotel exists in the heart of Manila. Everyone was very professional, and it is an extreme value for the money. Highly recommend to ANYONE travelling to the Philippines! Job well done Best Western La Corona!!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a short walk to Manila Bay...all venues are within a short jeepney ride or taxi. Have plenty of small denominations for jeepneys or little snacks or drinks. For some reason, you end up having only large bills in your wallet. Everything is inexpensive based on the money exchange rate, i.e. went to the movies: 2 tickets and large popcorn...8 dollars!

I recommend this hotel for singles who are into bars since it is a perfect location for that
- Nightlife Tip : If you're into bars, there is a lot of them on MH Del Pillar where this hotel is

I still consider the quality of my stay at this hotel as fairly reasonable for a very reasonable price.
- Travel tip : It is ideal to stay at this hotel if one is having transaction at the US Embassy or at St. Luke's Medical Center.

The hotel is typical for this price range of lodging in Manila. The friendly staff made the stay worthwhile. I would probably stay again for a short stop over, but not for an extended stay. It was a good place for a one night sleep after a long international flight.
