Great location, friendly staff and room upgrade.

I returned to the Best Western Oxford Suites Makati. It is a very convenient location for business and relaxation. There are a few issues due to the age of the building and high occupancy rate. The elevators are very slow and occasionally are not working. The hotel staff do not have a service elevation so almost always there are multiple stops as room service, maid service and maintenance staff go from floor to floor. Sometimes the in-room coffee packs are not replaced and there is only enough for one cup of coffee. The breakfast buffet was good along with the business center. I'll book the hotel again this month as there are more positives than negatives.

Good Hotel - Its value for money

The room was good. Service was excellent. Very helpful staff always smiling and very clean room. Aircon was excellent self controlled tempreature. Excellent cable TV and Wi-fi was also free with good speed Skype working excellent. It was in Makati, Pizza Hutt, Mackdonals and plenty of other local fast food chains very nearby at walking distance from two minutes to ten minutes walk. Hussain muslim food resturant also in the nearby walking vicinity. Plenty of transport like taxi cab and jeepny is easily available.
Travel tip:
A bit of caution - this hotel is in the red light area.

Great location for business and pleasure
Friendy and helpful Staff. Clean modern rooms.

The stay was short but sweet. Rooms are modern and clean, everything works and the buffet breakfast is just right. Entertainment and dining spots are within walking distance and business contacts are within a short taxi drive. I enjoyed the experience and booked another 5 days.

Nice hotel, good Burgos nightlife location

nice big rooms with a great burgos location. i couldnt keep the shower water from racing around the shower and down onto the floor but it wasnt a big deal. their is a laundry service on the side street just down from the steps that can give you expedited service for an extra charge. it will still be many many times cheaper then using the hotels laundry service. all in all a pretty good hotel for the rate and the perfect location if you want to explore p burgos st.
Restaurant Tip:
Barrio Fiesta, walk down to Malati avenue on the side street and turn right (north). Walk past a new complex on the left cross a street and you will see it on the left as well. Great Philippino food, really good musician with guitar and nice ballads. Prices are good as well.

This hotel is well situated in a night life area. The rooms are quite good compared with other hotels in this area. Nice staff. Overall is good and wqill stay again.

Hotel is located close to the Makati business, district but is also in the middle of the central bar / entertainment area.
Great for nightlife, but is somewhat noisy if especially on the lower floors.
Rooms are spacious and everything was in working order, however, the WiFi was slow which was inconvenient for internet access and downloading information.
Many ameneties close by and within walking distance of a wide selection of restaurants / fast food chains, convenience stores, ATM machines etc.

Friendly staff (as in every place in Philippines), great location, right in the middle of Burgos Street. Rooms are spacious and clean. The whole hotel is an old building and all the decorations are old. The gym cannot be used as all the tools are old or broken. The breakfast was not included, making the staying a little bit too expensive.
