the hotel is a little noisy when night falls, try to request for higher floor if you are not a nocturne. it's exceptionally good if you spend more energy at night time.

Nice lovely hotel, greatly located

The hotel front desk is indeed helpful when I'd checked in about 11pm late night. After a gruesome tired day, a brink of cosy smile is all you need before bed.
Nightlife Tip:
Best Western is right in the middle of all happening night life. Great foothold for nocturnals. Indeed, you might only sleep in day light.

i really enjoyed staying here and would return. i've stayed in several hotels in manila/makati and this one had the best service. not only a beautiful breakfast, but friendly staff who go out of their way to assist. the lounge downstairs has live music and is a good place to relax. the only pitfall is the location. it is centrally located, but is not on the best street- almost like a red light district of manila one might say.
in contrast to this though, the area is safe and the hotel is very nice. i would definitely stay again.

Great service, dated rooms

The staff are friendly and helpful. They are what make this a pleasant place to stay.
The rooms, however, are very tired, they need to repair the fittings such as the aircon fan swing, the lighting, the bath. Wallpaper, bed, desk and chairs are all showing their age. The room safe was bolted onto a small portable shoe rack ??? I felt confident about that. The call button for the lifts only calls one side of the hallway. I would recommend a major refurb before the hotel is downgraded to 1 or 1.5 star.
The rooms also need to be aired properly on a regular basis preferably daily especially as they permit smoking, this permeates the whole floor. I was not offered a non smoking room or floor :( , as a non smoker this is a major factor in deciding if I would return.
The breakfast buffet while limited is OK, it varies every day. The may want to invest in a proper toaster as the small oven next to the breads confuses most people, resulting in burnt offerings being left behind in the oven. The hot chocolate hidden beside the coffee is great.

always like staying at oxford suites in makati, the rooms are clean and the staff are always there to help if needed.

Close to the action
Reasonable hotel with unreasonable costs (now that is owned by Best Western)

great location, and is close to all the nightlife in makati. i used to be a regular at this hotel when the costs were more affordable. i do not choose the hotel anymore as the room rates have gone up by ~50% with the acquisition by best western, but has no improvement to the decor or furnishings. get the pricing right, and i will stay there again. too many tour groups come to stay at this hotel also.

i made a last minute decision to stay here. didnt have much of a choice
the cab driver didnt know this hotel was best western and took me elsewhere closeby to another hotel! location is close to makati greenbelt which helped me
staff is not helpful or friendly - they didnt even give me the key to the balcony room door as promised. they didnt have change when i asked for money to be changed. then they short changed me on the last day after i paid for a room service charge, saying they had not enough change! not impressed here! my room was so noisy with some machine running under the floor oh gosh all night too!
Nightlife Tip:
plenty of night spots around here
