Oxford Suites Hotel
Service is good and breakfast is ok

The rooms and halls was a bit smelly and carpets has stains. Hosted the rooms are big and clean. Just Need some updating. The hotel is close to P. Burgos st so if that's what you are there for, this is a decent hotel. The hotel service is great and breakfast is decent.

Ive been coming here off and on for the last 4 years or so, and have yet to have a bad stay.
It is situated in the heart of Makati, and I suppose to somes dismay in the middle of Burgos Street. While obviously the gogo bars are not for everyone, they are hardly "in your face" or offensive, and can easily be avoided if one so wished.
Also because of this, there is a steady flow of METERED taxi's running down the street pretty much all hours of the day, and you don't have to use the sharks sitting outside parked.
Staff is great, professional when you need them, and let you come and go as you please without feeling like your being starred at when you need it.
Rooms have always been clean, room service quick and food up to par, all for a reasonable price. Minibar prices are also inline, and 2 bottles of water are provided free.
I've stayed at hotels all over the city, and IMHO Oxford Suites provides the best bang for the buck in what Im after.

was very nice, well located with excellent service. is better suited to single males, but families would be ok.
Hawkers can be a nuisance but just learn to say no and keep walking

Right in the middle of the action

Nice hotel, clean and large room size. Better than the Makati Palace Hotel across the street as the Oxford is a bit newer (and didn't house a murder!). No problems with overnight guests. Complimentary drink on check in, and one-hour free wifi. Worst part about the hotel is the elevators, very slow!
Nightlife Tip:
If you want to experience the Makati red light, this is the place to stay!

Great service and a very good value for money just minutes from the business district

this hotel is in a bar district just minutes from the business district of the city. while it isn't appropriate for families, it works well for businessmen. service is always with a smile, and the value for money is tough to beat in manila.

THis is a reasonable hotel at a reasonable price
Located in a bar area with lots happening. Only a short taxi ride from Green Belt.

this is a hotel that would have been great in its day, but it is starting to age and needs a facelift. having said that it is reasonable value and in a street with always something happening. lots of bars but nothing too over the top.
the staff are helpful and the rooms a reasonable size....but not4-5 star. perhaps the best recommendation is that i actually have stayed in this hotel 6 or 7 times.

The hotel was nice and the service while i was there was good. My only complaint, is that one week before the trip, I asked to cancell an extra bed for two nights and then add an additional 3rd night to our stay. The hotel refused, and thats why i wont be back.
