Location, close to airport and at a good price.
2nd time Ive stayed here and standard remains solid for staff and rooms.

All in all cannot really complain for the price paid (and paid day before arrival). Staff remain positive and happy as always. Size of rooms is fine. Tv lacking English stations and wifi is hot and cold but would stay here again, no problem. Location is handy.

Booked day before and a decent rate for a 4* hotel. Hotel old an bit dated. First room I was given had a wet floor from a leaking aircon but they upgraded me straight away so no real issues. Good locale and great staff. Free wifi also is great. Would stay again no problem.

I have been to this hotel so many times.. Since 1988 up to present.. Hotel location and exterior is great , but It is too old.. Maintenace is required. Furniture, carpets and bathroom are too old and are being exhausted. Reception procedures ( Check in and Chech out ) are very slow. But the hotel lobbies are so nice...

Good hotel
Good all round business hotel with a nice pool, near the airport and a handy shopping mall.

Nice business hotel which my wife and I use for overnights when stopping in Manila on the way to the islands. Very convenient for the airport, nice outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, great delicatessen downstairs, big shopping mall across the road and nearby to SM Mall of Asia, which I believe is the biggest shopping mall in Asia.
Travel tip:
Don't take the yellow taxis from the airport or the hotel taxis. Normal taxis are white, very good, and considerably cheaper. E.g. the yellow taxis from the airport are over 3 times the price of the white ones. It seems a racket, no other way I can interpret it

century hotel is a nice place to stay at, you can bring your whole family the room is a little bigger with two beds but the beds are very small. though the hotel service is very accommodating and thus multilingual which is good for out of country guest that cannot speak english or pilipino languages. the hotel is situated at the heart of roxas and malate which is very convenient to go from one attraction to another. Just don't get a hotel taxi unless you want to pay 3x as much as a regular taxi.

Weekend at the Park
The coffee shop has always been my favorite stop for any kind of meal, whether it be Filipino, Chinese or American dish. Staff are cordial and nice, making you feel at home. Shopping is just a few steps away, with other restaurants also within spitting distance. Transportation is easy.

I have been an old patron of this hotel since it was opened in the 70's. Even after I migrated to the US, I would still come back. The lobby and coffee shop are lasting reminders of the ambience of this hotel. Watching the fabulous sunset is so easy as Manila Bay is just a block away. Need to do some shopping - there's a mall a few steps away. Staff are nice and courteous.

We stayed here for one night to wait for the plane back to Europe. It took just about 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel. So it was not a long drive. Do always take a metered taxi. If we had to take a private cap it would have costed approx. The hotel lobby was great and the staff really helpful. The lobby indicated that this hotel once have been very fancy. The rooms though, were ok, but not more than that. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. Would stay here again if we had to stay for just one night or a few more.
Hotel Feature Tip:
When going from the hotel to the airport (or elsewhere) just step out to the street and a metered taxi will show up short after. No need to take a hotel taxi, that will cost you 4 times as much as a normal metered taxi.

Older hotel, a little pricey

The hotel was decent, but for the price, I think it needs to step up a lot more to come up even with the competition. As mentioned, everything seemed very old in the hotel, including the sink fixtures, the faded carpet, the old tv, the odd master controls by the bed for all the lights. It all worked, and it was fine, but I think it's better for business travelers than couples, and the price shouldn't be on par with a newer hotel that provides the same amenities with less visible wear and tear. By the way, expect the cabbies outside to ask for 500 pesos and forget to run the meter for a five minute ride (should be 30 pesos or so). The ride from the airport provided by the hotel also cost 1200 pesos, when a taxi would have cost about 300 pesos I think. Maybe less. All in all, average rooms for above average price.

Outstanding Staff Hospitality
Location is convenient to Malate, Ermita, Pasay, and even Makati. Harrison Plaza is located adjacent to the hotel. Priced consistent with its age, service, and amenities.

The staff friendliness is unparalleled. The check-in staff remember me from previous visits and greet me warmly. The doormen are always cheerful and smiling. The housekeeping staff is extremely accommodating and friendly as well. Same goes for the bar staff. Security personnel stationed in the lobby near the elevators never fail to smile either and greet the guests. The hotel is strategically located for easy access to various areas of Metro Manila. Although Century Park is not one of the "best" hotels I have stayed at, it is definitely the most enjoyable hotel I stay at and I am a very frequent traveler over four continents. And the credit goes to the staff friendliness.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't eat in the hotel (unless it's included in the rate). There are many better options nearby.
