Low price for this standard. Nice lobby and pool.
Indifferent service, aging decor.
The location of the Century Park Hotel, next to a shopping plaza in busy Malate, is a good one. You have convenience and access to Malate and shopping, although to be fair, most of the action happens in Makati nowadays.
The reception area and lobby are large and lavish; the bellboys are helpful. The more senior staff seemed uninterested though.
The star rating is four or five officially; in real terms, it is probably a good three and a half. It is possessed of facilities from good (nice pool) to barely adequate (a very sparse 'fitness center' with less than six machines in total).
The rooms themselves, though roomy and functional, are stuck firmly in the 1980s. Very overdue for cosmetic refurbishment, though I guess this would be reflected in a higher room rate.
All in all, this is a fairly fuss-free and convenient place, and delivers adequate return for the money, though smiling on the part of some staff is free and would add more value.
Shopping Tip : Harrison Plaza opposite the hotel- an older mall but good for shopping nonetheless.

1. Easy registration and check-in
2. Great room - Superior 2 double beds
3. Great swimming pool, jacuzzi and shower facilities
Too close to the mall - had to make multiple trips to shopping malls - Harrison Plaza and Robinsons
This was my first time booking a hotel through Agoda.com and it was very easy and convenient. As soon as I showed a copy of my hotel voucher at the registration desk, they acknowleged my booking and simply as a copy of my passport/ID and credit card for any incidential expenses/security deposit. No other questions asked. Checking out is also very easy as Agoda already took care of the billing. The hotel only calculates any incidental charges and bar tabs to the guest room and automatically bills it against the credit card you provided during check-in. The hotel staff were very courteous. I felt safe in this hotel and no unwanted solicitors in the lobby unlike other hotels I have previously stayed. The pool facilities are great and was able to entertain other friends and family who visited me. My one day/one-night stay was all worth it and had a memorable day with my family who came by to visit me on this short stop over in Manila.
Shopping Tip : Right across Harrison Plaza shopping center and close walk or ride to Robinsons Mall.

Coffee facilities in the room, nice hot, good water pressure shower. Staff was very friendly.
The japanese restaurant was nice, very good food but slightly expensive. I ate at the Cafe in the Park and the food was not very good at all. It was very expensive to eat there also.
I will not stay at this hotel again. The only reason is the high cost of the restaurants and the taste of the food. We had a lunch buffet with a cola to drink for two people at a cost of php3120, go figure.
Shopping Tip : Decent size mall and very large grocery store right across the street.

close to shopping, staff was helpful
I like carpet, but the carpet in my room was stained. There was a balcony but the door to it was permanently locked. The Celler/KTV bar at the bottom floor was horrible. he food was cold, the bar manager was rude. six of us were singing videoke and the manager was watching a drama tv show in the room next to the bar at a very high volume. I asked him to turn it down and he got indignant, and wouldnt.
Shopping Tip : right across the street is SM and Harrison Mall

We booked this hotel as I like Malate area and we wanted to stay in a comfortable place as we were on our honeymoon. We had requested a special room through agoda but it was not available when we reached hotel. But staff did their best to give us another better place and we were satisfied.
I didn't like the location. I have stayed many times at different hotels in Malate, Ermita and Makati, but I liked other hotels better than this one. For example I liked Executive Plaza Hotel better than this one as Plaza hotel is more central and according to my needs.
It's a nice hotel in respect to its furniture and decoration. Pool is great and there is a nice restaurant although we didn't eat here. So I grade it in the middle.

Very high standard of hotel - 5 star and it shows
Opposite shopping mall and many restaurants within 5 mins walk
Very expensive taxi service - 5 times going rate
This is quite an expensive hotel for Manila, but you do get the bells and whistles for your money. Breakfast is the best i've had in any hotel with a huge range of everything you could possibly think off and its right across from a mall so you do have to go far for shopping. Also there are many places to eat within a few minutes walk from cheap and chearful like KFC and Pizza Hut to Japanese etc.

Well presented hotel in the older style.
Not located in the best area.
Century Park is an older type hotel presenting quality furnishings and appearance. It gives a feeling of comfort and the staff were very accommodating albeit not the quickest with service which can be a feature in the Philippines.
Outside the hotel shopping can be easily accessed but the hotel is not set in its own grounds and as such the surrounding area is somewhat run down.
This did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay however as the facilities including the pool area were very good and the food was more than acceptable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Although not situated in the better area it it very convenient for local attractions and is within reasonable access for the airport

Service\nCleanliness\nAttitude
I have seen some sites rate this hotel as a 4 star and some as a 5 star but I think with a small amount of renovation they could easily be a 5 star hotel. Outstanding service and attitude! Very safe place to stay. I will be back again.

Century Park hotel Manila, Philipines is overall a very nice hotel. Well recommended.
Hotel staff is not very welcoming.
Century park hotel is by far the best hotel i would love to come back even tho the hotel staff is not very helpful, But overall hotel is very clean, near to food and shopping mall, not to many beggars around comparing to other 5 star hotel around the city. Hotel room is excellent. Clean room, good tv channels, clean toilet, one would not expected to have. Taxi's in the hotel are a bit expensive. Be careful and always ask for metered taxi's.
Shopping Tip : You can get a cab to the Mall of Asia, good shopping and good food. Biggest mall in the Philippines.

Harrison Plaza in front of the eye, so it is useful in various ways.
In-room mini-bar "key" is at stake, can not be used. The first "thousands of pesos" or to pay.
The five-star hotels, the rooms are considerably damaged, has been disappointing. On the whole hotel staff were unfriendly impression. In sum, I feel like I was Kana.

The hotel is located adjacent to the Harrison Plaza Mall and convenient to two main streets and various public transport options. Security is present and obvious, but not overbearing. Staff is very welcoming and aims to please.
I have stayed at this hotel before. Many of the same staff work there and remembered me from previous visits. Some of the common areas have recently undergone some renovation---fresh paint, enhanced lighting, ornamentation, etc., yet the rooms themselves are long overdue for renovation. Nonetheless, they are spacious, comfortable, and functional.

Century Park Hotel is a good hotel. From checking in to checking out. Staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant is great; a lot of foods to choose from. Convenient location.
The beds were a little bit small, needs to change to a bigger one. Single bed is too small for adult,it is meant to be for kid size.
I'm happy for the hotel and the price I paid. it was worthed. I recommend this hotel to those people who likes shopping. Shopping mall is just outside the door. Everything is close to this hotel. Short distance from the airport and shopping mall. Century Park Hotel is clean. The hotel has also spa; you can have your massage or facial cleaning.

Very clean, professional staff, Outstanding room service, dependable and very safe.
Buffet was a bit expensive but the quality of food was outstanding.
Our stay at the Century Park Hotel in Manila was both satisfing and relaxing. The airport shuttle service was prompt, courteous and friendly. Our driver, Jojo, was exceedingly helpful, and we felt safe and secure in his company. He even arranged to pick us up at 3am in order to catch our flight the following morning. This was not his normal schedule. The reception at the hotel was very professional, accurate and extremely friendly. Room service was prompt, accurate and exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Manila.
Hotel Feature Tip : Consider the upgraded room. For the money it is quite a deal.
