Restaurants have good food but costly...

Staff not very friendly at check-in. Hotel rooms are dated, the bathrooms are quite old and not in good shape. Hotel taxi service big rip-off they wanted to charge me twice what I paid the coupon taxi from the airport and three times a metered taxi would charge me. It's bad enough everyone else in the PI wants to rip you off but my hotel too?

I definitely did not have a good experience at this hotel, I may try it out again only because it came highly recommended by a few people. Staff checking out was pleasant at least. Don't use the phone at all, I called out to my airline office and even thought the line was busy I got charged for the calls, should have used my cell and pay the 2.99/min intl roaming fee.

Restaurant Tip : Go eat across the street at the mall much cheaper!!!!

Close to Harrison Plaza shopping Nice pool area A/C in hallways and lobby area

Old hotel Neighborhood is a bit shady, especially at night Overpriced

This is an old hotel and is really showing her age. Very disappointed with this hotel. The room was like an old Vegas strip hotel that should be gutted. The carpet in the room was filthy and the comforter on the bed must be the original one from when the hotel first opened. This is an overpriced hotel and should be charging a tenth of what the actual nightly rate is. Staff were not that friendly nor helpful. Many other hotels in the area at a much better price with much better service. This is an overpriced 2-star hotel.

the hotel is very nice and very accessible to malls, restaurants and other establishments...all staffs are very warm and kind.

So happened that on my stay there, there was a renovation going on the upper level, yet tolerable and understandable...

The experience was very unforgettable, during the typhoon "ondoy", the hotel management was kind enough to extend my stay. The staffs were very kind and warm. The hotel has a very accommodating ambiance. The facilities are excellent and the services inside the hotel are magnificent. The hotel very accessible and very feasible for people who needs a place to stay. Very convenient and your money is well spent for the type of hotel like this. I will surely go back and stay at this hotel as often as i can.Thanks...

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I was able to see the outstretched of the whole area because of the classic type of windows and terrace/balcony of this hotel.

* A shopping mall is across the street * Front desk very helpful * Housekeeping was quick to answer your requests

* There was a towel and plastic bag left in the drawer by the previous guest, so housekeeping was not thorough enough

Overall, I like the hotel due to the friendly staff and the shopping mall, Harrizon Plaza, across the street. So, if you don't like expensive hotel food, then you can just eat in the shopping mall.

Service is good, hotel is old Guest Rating: 5.7

Good service. Staff help to change room when the first room given is below renovation level.

- Furnitures are very old and faulty - Carpet contains leakage - Certain floor under renovation and is very noisy

The hotel is relative near the airport and you should be able to escape from the traffic jam to and fro. Service staff and security staff are friendly and able to help with most issues. The wireless internet is horrible - network broke down at least once per day for hours. You have to go down to the business center to use the broadband over there.

Shopping Tip : Supermarket inside SM Mall opposite hotel is big and has a good range of products.

Nice location. Easy access to shopping & nightlife.

Rooms are defintely in need of upgrading. Renovations is ongoing so noise is inevitable. Willbe nice if all rooms are equipped with Broadband.

Awaiting for the completion of the renovations before making another visit. Hope they will spruce up the hotel as it looks aged

Located beside Harrison Plaza. Things in the plaza are very affordable. Easily half the prices in other places of interests.

No proper baby cot, provided a playpan instead.

Given that it is a five star hotel, it is definitely value for money. The front of the entrance looks old (it's an old hotel) but the inside is quite pleasant. The hotel is located beside a shopping plaza (Harrison), so it's convenient to buy your necessities. Getting around the city is easy. It is very easy to get a cab, just inform the front staff, and the cab will arrive pretty soon.

Shopping Tip : Check out the nearby Harrison Plaza.

Everything is good. No complaints except for the swimming pool. If there is a nicer swimming pool, it would have been complete.

If there is a micriwave, it would be complete :-)

The hotel is strategically located in Malate. Lots of pubs around the area and Harrison Plaza provides most of the stuff you will need. Take a taxi, you will be in no where in no time. Perhaps the only thing is the famous Manila jam!

Nightlife Tip : Lots of live bands around the area.

Low price for this standard. Nice lobby and pool.

Indifferent service, aging decor.

The location of the Century Park Hotel, next to a shopping plaza in busy Malate, is a good one. You have convenience and access to Malate and shopping, although to be fair, most of the action happens in Makati nowadays. The reception area and lobby are large and lavish; the bellboys are helpful. The more senior staff seemed uninterested though. The star rating is four or five officially; in real terms, it is probably a good three and a half. It is possessed of facilities from good (nice pool) to barely adequate (a very sparse 'fitness center' with less than six machines in total). The rooms themselves, though roomy and functional, are stuck firmly in the 1980s. Very overdue for cosmetic refurbishment, though I guess this would be reflected in a higher room rate. All in all, this is a fairly fuss-free and convenient place, and delivers adequate return for the money, though smiling on the part of some staff is free and would add more value.

Shopping Tip : Harrison Plaza opposite the hotel- an older mall but good for shopping nonetheless.

1. Easy registration and check-in 2. Great room - Superior 2 double beds 3. Great swimming pool, jacuzzi and shower facilities

Too close to the mall - had to make multiple trips to shopping malls - Harrison Plaza and Robinsons

This was my first time booking a hotel through Agoda.com and it was very easy and convenient. As soon as I showed a copy of my hotel voucher at the registration desk, they acknowleged my booking and simply as a copy of my passport/ID and credit card for any incidential expenses/security deposit. No other questions asked. Checking out is also very easy as Agoda already took care of the billing. The hotel only calculates any incidental charges and bar tabs to the guest room and automatically bills it against the credit card you provided during check-in. The hotel staff were very courteous. I felt safe in this hotel and no unwanted solicitors in the lobby unlike other hotels I have previously stayed. The pool facilities are great and was able to entertain other friends and family who visited me. My one day/one-night stay was all worth it and had a memorable day with my family who came by to visit me on this short stop over in Manila.

Shopping Tip : Right across Harrison Plaza shopping center and close walk or ride to Robinsons Mall.

Coffee facilities in the room, nice hot, good water pressure shower. Staff was very friendly.

The japanese restaurant was nice, very good food but slightly expensive. I ate at the Cafe in the Park and the food was not very good at all. It was very expensive to eat there also.

I will not stay at this hotel again. The only reason is the high cost of the restaurants and the taste of the food. We had a lunch buffet with a cola to drink for two people at a cost of php3120, go figure.

Shopping Tip : Decent size mall and very large grocery store right across the street.

close to shopping, staff was helpful

a little old

I like carpet, but the carpet in my room was stained. There was a balcony but the door to it was permanently locked. The Celler/KTV bar at the bottom floor was horrible. he food was cold, the bar manager was rude. six of us were singing videoke and the manager was watching a drama tv show in the room next to the bar at a very high volume. I asked him to turn it down and he got indignant, and wouldnt.

Shopping Tip : right across the street is SM and Harrison Mall
