i was so disappointed with their service. our room is not good. the aircon is so noisy, the television is defective and no available bath rob in the room. i called up the housekeeping regarding the complain and the response is not that fast i called up twice before a maintenance come up to see our complain.and their swimming is so dark in the night lack of lighting. no wifi

it was a nice hotel, need a renovation.We stayed here for two nights. I got the part of the hotel that was newly renovated, i upgraded to a deluxe room with two twin beds the rooms that we got was huge. It's in a great location, close to the malls, restaurant row, bar, nightlife....but far enough from the noise to be quiet for sleeping. There were sirens, but it's Malate.

You Get What You Pay For

That rate you find here at agoda is lower and cannot be found at the hotel's own website. However, they seem to treat agoda customers with disdain and the attitude of you pay less, don't even ask for any extra services.
The good:
1. Location, next to a shopping mall and the primary reason we chose this hotel is because a lot of our destinations are near here.
2. Staff are friendly and courteous.
The bad:
1. The room is really old and carpet is full of stains. The layout comes from the 1980s when people did not carry laptops and cell phones, so there's no convenient outlet where you can plug them. And worse, if you turn off certain lights, certain electrical outlets also get turned off. One needs to push so many buttons for the TV to work. It is complicated as it comes with a page of instructions in various languages placed on the TV stand.
2. Staff will not grant early check in. Requested early check in as we arrived at 11am, won't let us. We got the room at 12noon, but honestly did not look anything like it has recently been cleaned or it was occupied the night before.
3. Itchy bed. We all felt itchy after the first night. Most likely bedbugs or maybe the sheets haven't been changed for a very long time. Requested what they can do, and the front desk just said they're going to spray. Front desk also told me that they're full so no room change possible.
4. Staff will not grant late check out. They gave us till 1pm, most other hotels I stay at least will accommodate 2pm or 3pm. Again, they said they're full which I can understand if it's really true. However, when we stayed there, we never had any one shared elevators to go up or to go down when we stayed from Saturday to Monday.
5. Bell service will tell you taxis they call are metered but the taxis there will want you to pay fixed rate. Taxi drivers say it's because the hotel asks them to line up for hours before they can get one passenger. On return trips, the other taxis are ok with meters.

besides from the lovely hotel rooms that they have, the location is of much convinient to me because shopping center's are just across it. me and my family were all welcome with a smile and we were delighted with the assistance that was rendered to us. most of all, one thing that i really appreciate is the honesty of the staff. after having a good conversation with my mom, i left my ipad2 at the coffee lounge. i went back there and found that the staff has turn it over to the officer in charge for safe keeping and claims. the officer in charge assured me that if it is found by their staff, it shall be returned. for this, i have marked this hotel as excellent because of their honesty and accomodating staff as well. definitely, i would be delighted to come back again and highly
recommendable to everyone.

Old Hotel. No Way 5 Star!

This hotel was run down and well over-priced. I've stayed in nicer places in Manila for less than a third of the price! If I was you, I'd book to stay in the Makati area as Emita is not very nice. The pool was dirty with cracked tiles and the sunbeds were filthy. The room had a balacony, but for "safety" the door was always locked, so we couldn't use it!
