accessible to basic amenities Room floors need to be updated and the white towels are turning colors. During our first night, we had to phone the front desk of the noise pollution next to our room. There was no improvement after 2 calls. The place is quite near to all basic amenities around the area. It is spacious which I appreciated, however, get your money's worth for the outdated room facilities. The security guards should police the pimps who frequent vicinity of the hotel - not a good sight!

The view, spacious rooms. My second stay at the Citadel. I like this hotel, for the $50 you get a small apartment really, albeit with a sparse kitchen (there is just a hotplate, no oven or microwave).
Nice big fridge, though!
There was building work going on right above us but the workers kept to a 9.30-17.00 schedule, at least.The room service man said we could transfer no problem, but this may mean a lower floor.....not so good for the New Year's fireworks view! They opened the top floor for all on New Year's Eve, so you could see the fireworks if in a low room.
I expect to stay here again soon.....but as said, at close on $50 a night we are getting into quality hotel prices, with many more hotels to choose from which become more tempting in this price range.
Shopping Tip : Loads of food outlets nearby, from US junk food to Japanese and Asian food places. Rockwell mall is nearby, but tends to be overpriced as it caters more for tourists and Makati's affluent.

The place where the hotel is in the center Makati, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the reception is one who listen to you and do everything for you to make your staying there a nice time the only negative thing what I have are the elevators, they are slowly and sometimes you have to wait for a long time
I come already more then 3 years in this hotel, its one of the best for the price what you payed, I can recomanded this hotel really to all my friends
Nearby the hotel there are a lot of places where you can your dinner or lunch. Its nice to have a small kitchen where you can prepare your own food if you dont want to go out after one day shopping
or call the reception and they deliver on your room a good meal
Travel tip : beside the hotel is a nice cafe restaurant where you can drink or eat your dinner or lunch. A nice place for to relax your time
