Staff are accomodating especially Cheche, the reservation officer. Hotel area is lively and easy.

Elevator needs upgrade.

The hotel's reservation officer was very accomodating and had assisted me in all the best possible ways. I had booked a 3 bedroom suite and my family had enjoyed our stay in the sel-contained unit. The hotel area is well-lighted and everything - the big malls, transportation stations, cabs, etc. are accessible. You can also get a good city view of Makati both day and night. Business center is in the hotel's lobby and you can also find internet cafe's across. Bars are on the same road thus making it more vibrant and lively the the whole day. We had a delightful stay and will surely be back. Cheers.

Shopping Tip : The Ayala mall and train station is just a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Bars are all ove r the place.

location friendly staff

no breakfast painting during our stay, can smell the paint in our room

This hotel is smack right in the middle of the red light district. So if this is what you're looking for, this location is definitely for you. Not a good place for family with small children since the ladies are out in force at night so are their customers. If you like to go out in bars with gogo girls, don't go any further this hotel gives you the best rates.

Restaurant Tip : Try going to the matrix bar which is beside the hotel during happy hour. Beer are half price with the best view. Wait staff very attentive, nice place to pass the time. Open air seating but with overhead fans available and pool tables inside with airconditioning. Watch out for the pool sharks some of them are real pretty

Cheap, housekeeping and staffs

cockroaches, hot water (not very well)

I was in the hotel in winter season. of course it was hot. kkk I needed to take a hot bath. but there was not. I could take a warm shower for 5 min. after that time it became cold shower. except that it was nice! Around hotel there are lots of restaraunts and bars.

Shopping Tip : Go to Greenbelt!! It is a fantastic place to do everything.

Location

Slow and sometimes defect elevator(s)

Very good hotel if you just plan to be outside all day and/or all night and just need the room for sleeping . The rooms are old and need some refreshment works, but they are clean. Only 1 of the 2 elevators was working fine, what caused very long waiting time to go up or down (from 25th floor). There is a small internet café next to the lobby and the connection is good for a cheap price . Also possible to exchange money there at a good rate . People are friendly and always ready to help .

Decent price, but nothing else. Guest Rating: 4.3

- Tall building

- In the red-light district of Makati - Old and dirty rooms with furniture you wouldn't sit on - Bathrooms are poorly lit - Painfully slow elevators

We (2 persons) stayed in two different rooms on two occassions. And each time, we couldn't wait to leave. The surrounding area is red-light districty. And if you like seeing big fat old white guys with two petite filipinas, then maybe that's the place for you. Our first room was a sizeable suite, with a bedroom, couch, kitchen, table, and bathroom. But it was terribly old, and if you have decent standards, you probably wouldn't cook there. Nor would you sit on the couch that looks like it was raped repeatedly by dogs. The floors are old, and you definitely wouldn't feel comfortable walking around barefoot. On our second stay, we asked for a smaller but cleaner room. And it was smaller (no kitchen), but cleaner. But probably not enough to be called 3-star. Just a bedroom, but had a good view. Unfortunately, we were on the 32nd floor, I think. And they were having problems with the elevator that day, so the waits were terrible.

Lift too slow

I recomend this hotel for the great location, there are plenty of places to eat and drink around the hotel in a very good location in makati, the staff good, the only problem i found was the lift In peak time is too slow, the rest of the time perfect i fully recomend it for everybody

can't think of anything right now, except for the price, one of the cheapest in agoda but expensive with direct booking. Staffs are good...

needs a lot of improvement - room presentation - cleanliness - toilet not too impressive - location, red light district - elevator, takes a long time - needs major paint job or change cupboard to vinyl laminate to make it more presentable

I am not too impress with overall presentation.

You can do better... Guest Rating: 5

hummmm,

only 2 elevators, didnt like the fact that i am bothered everytime i leave hotel.

hotel is just ok,right on burgos street,if you are in to clubs and drinking my guess you will find it just right. To many girls want to give massages.i am not sure if i will stay there again.hotel staff reminded me that if we stain the sheets we will be the proud owner,i would guess that the reason is too many short term guests.

The location of the hotel which is accessible to nightclub joints.

The attitude of the front desk staff & housekeeper.

This hotel really in need of customer service training especially for the front desk personnel & housekeeper. As for the bell boys & doormen, they seems to be pleasantly more forthcoming in their attitude. The rooms are not what we saw in the website. If you have any intention to swim in this hotel, you will be utterly disappointed with the pool. The toilet is too cramp & no decent toiletries & the bed were sinking. For the price there are many other options within this particular vicinity. So please search wisely.

needs paint smells on the first day

the hotel is in the red light district in the middle of makati night life. In my 21 day stay there I felt like I needed everything a male bachelor like me needed to have a good time. There are literally up to 10 massage places within 5 min walking distance from the hotel. Restaurants, bars, money changers, conveniet stores, anything a tourist needs.I only had to leave this street once to buy a cell phone. Of course there were other reasons I left this area like going to movies or sightseeing. The only problem with the locaction is that it is a little too noisy to sleep with at night time. But I don't think any hotel is in a quiet neighborhood there. Anyway I also enjoyed the restaurant at the top of the hotel. The view is spectacular and prices reasonable.

Elevators very slow and doors to elevators is closing too soon. Some traffic noise

My wife and myself stayed at the hotel when we were waiting for connecting flights. We arrived late and left early. The check in and checkout procedure were very fast which is important when you have a tight schedule. It was easy to get a taxi in the morning .Rooms were OK nice and clean. Some people migth be concerned about the .red light nigth life near the hotel

Affordable, friendly staff, convenient location.

Elevators are slow and mostly busy transporting staff.

Citadel is an affordable, clean place to stay in. The staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is minutes away from the Greenbelt, cheap places to eat are just around the corner. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint is the elevator which is slow and mostly busy with staff using it b ut a a small price to pay for a decent hotel.
