location, great, close to bars mini marts, self catering, seperate bedroom, very pleased

lift is too slow , but thats fine, nothing else wrong

For The price and its location, this hotel is a must, and another must is the Spanish bar in the street at the rear, great margaritas , bar food etc, we loved our stay there, lots to see locally, close to all you would ever need. My wife and I loved our stay there.

Restaurant Tip : go to the spanish bar in the street at the rear, quality food service and bar

Some rooms are one bedroom Good enough.

Not for families. 30 floors, one of the two elevators, "sticks" on the 17th floor going up. Meet one of the residents said been that way for months. That should give you an idea of the place.

Must repeat all that is necessay about the hotel. Kind of sleazy area, lots of hassel on the streets with guys selling most everything. Every 10 ft

Nightlife Tip : Just sit a one of the many outdoor bars/food, you get a smile and like to meet one of the locals, just wave them over.

Very comfortable room and excellent staff

Elevators very slow, especially in the morning when everyone is checking out.

I stayed in a very comfortable 1 bedroom suite which was very good value. Bed was very good however there was a rooster outside who started crowing early in the morning. All the hotel staff were excellent, without exception. It would have been nice to have hot water in the sink but not in my room, just nthe shower. And the elevators are a major weakness, sometimes having to wait 10-15 minutes. But at this excellent price, the negatives are minor.

Travel tip : Great location for restaurants and night life.

Locaction is good if you are a single male, if you are not then or offend easily don't stay in this part of town. Good shower! - decent breakfast next door at the Matrix you can also people watch there later in the day.

Age of hotel,hopeless evelvator.

When I first got to my room I was hit with the overpowering smell of what can only be decribed as moth balls. It's REALLY run down, ok if you are a backpacker but I will never stay there again.

The hotel location is very accessible and convenient if you want to go to shopping or dine-out.

1. My room (#1918)access is so inconvenient , i need to use 2 keys to open the door. Majority of the Hotels are now just card insert, tap or swipe. 2. Parking allocation is very bad. No coordination with the front desk and guard at entry/exit point. All guest should be treated as VIP and the allocated parking space should be reserved up to the departure or check-out. 3. The Kitchen Cabinet & Cupboard is dirty. Badly maintained. 4. Toilet lighting is dim. When i took a bath, i need to open-up the curtain shower. 5. The Aircon is very noisy. 6. The Front Desk should be given an orientation in Customer Satisfaction. Whenever a Guest approached the counter , priority should be given at all times.

I have stayed in several hotels within Makati district, my Hotel experience at Citadel Inn was very stressful from the time I logged my room reservation , parking allocation up to my check-out date. I hope that the "CONS" i have mentioned would be treated seriously to improve the Hotel condition and hoping that the standard would be elevated.

Nightlife Tip : Night entertainment is very convenient , you don't need to travel far. Just a stone-throw away from the hotel.

good location, convenience and friendly.

The furnitures, set up are quite old need to furnish and new painting.

I like the fantastic and convenient location, convenient shops, restaurants, fun pubs, massages and health centers, Money changers, fast food and so many more!!! The price is so reasonable! Of course the hotel is a bit old, it needs some new furnishings and paintings. Facilities like coffe and tea should provide.Bath towels should be more hygine. overall quite happy with it.

Location is at the center of everything (restaurants, pharmacy, bars). Convenient stores are close by and open 24/24.

The elevator is slow. Hotel provided transportation is a rip off.

I stayed in the hotel in 1 bed room suite for a week. With a short walk from the hotel on Makati Ave, there are lots of restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Persian and fast food chains). It takes about 20min to get to the malls (Mall of Asia and Robinson's) by taxi. The room service is good. Linen is changed daily even though they look old. Basic amenities are working (TV with cable, hot water, air conditioners). Across the hotel is an internet cafe with cheap rate. Also lots of money exchange around and the one next to the hotel is not bad (the rate there is higher than in the mall). However, the female employee in front of the hotel, who can help you with questions, directions, etc... (forgot her name) is terrible and should not work there. I asked her the direction to the mall of Asia and was given the time to get there for about 2 hrs. Then I was recommended to use hotel provided transportation to get there. To my surprise, it took only 15-20 min and I had to pay 5X more than the fare when I got back to the hotel from the mall. Later, when I complained about that, she just smiled. I think the driver and she work together to cheat tourists. If you don't use any hotel internet or transportation then the hotel is a good place with the price.

Travel tip : Plan the trip off peak. Otherwise, some taxi drivers refuse to take you because of traffic at the hotel location. From the hotel there is about 10-15 min walk to Rockwell mall and on the way, there is a very good authentic Thai (Som's noodle house) located in a small alley. The food there is the best (at least as good as the food in Bangkok).

location

street below is red light district, but safe.

Over the last 3 years, I have stayed here for weeks at a time to do business in the Philippines. If you are on holiday and a budget it is a good choice. If you are on business and need a place to crash it is a good choice. It is basically a 3 star hotel with fresh sheets, air conditioning and hot water shower etc.... nothing fancy, but does the trick.

location is close to the city center and shopping mall greenbelt

theres no restaurant in the hotel, u need to order room service or eat outside.

We stayed in the CItadel inn Hotel because we like Makati area and the price for this hotel was very affordable. We were pleasantly surprised about what you get for that little money. On the other hand it's not much more than a location for staying over the night as you most probable are out of the hotel the most of the time. The beds are good and the shower is clean. I would like to advise this hotel to anyone who wants a place to stay at for a good price, but don't expect too much luxury.

close to all amenities, 2 aircondition in a 1 bedroom apt. Good location if u like to go to bars and restaurants. there are about 5 money (currency) changer office and about 10-15 mins away from the Big shopping centres

Elevator is to slow. Only 2 lifts for such a busy building. Old fridge provided in the one bedroom apt.

Overall, i will still love to stay and recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly and it is very close to everything. It is worth the stay.Very good location.

Cheap / with Small Kitchen / Next of Convenient Store / Many GOGOs

Old / Slow Lift

The hotel located in the street of Night Spot that a lots of Go Go Bars. Nice to the traveler who loves night ladies and stay for long term with low budget. Room is old but acceptable if consider price. There is small kitchen but no supermarket around. But Pub and Convenient Store is next of Bldg. 2 Lifts but too slow - you may wait more than 3 min.

Beautifully clean linen

shower need better pump system and hot water is poor

The hotel has warm and friendly reception. Very helpful and always smiling. The staffing is adequate. Extremely efficient. Room service is friendly and extremely fast and efficient. The corridors are well lit and clean. Very peaceful and quiet environment for rest and relaxation. The lifts are good and efficient. Good cctv system with good quality guests. The service is next to none for a one star rated accomodation. I am very happy and contented with my stay. The most amazing thing is you get all that for such a low and economical rate. Not to mention it is soi near to all the amenities and great entertainment all night long. Cheers and Well done Citadel.
