Easy to go out for to buy food or visit a restaurant there is a lot of choice for that, The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable, only positive points I have

The only point is that the elevators are very slowly, but not a real problom

When I come in Manila I prefer this hotel, not only for the price but most of all its a clean and comfortable room, the aircon is good working and have not to much noise, the place from the hotel is very good, if you leave the hotel there are a lot of possibility's for where to eat or use a drink on a terrace, its really a safe place in the evening, its my second time that I stay in this hotel and every time I have enjoyed to stay there. Its a little old but the most important is that the employers are very kind and help you direct when you need them.

Nightlife Tip : For to enjoy the nighlife, its not need to go far around the hotel there are a lot of places where you can enjoy it

Nightlife Tip : Burgos street is the street off girle bars, massage etc.

Cheap

Really small bathroom. Heater doesn't work. Long waiting time for elevators

I think Citadel is the cheapest hotel around the area. If budget is your main consideration then this hotel should be fine. The location is also good since there is a variety of restaurants to choose from along Makati Avenue (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc). It's also just five minutes away from Ayala Malls (without traffic).

Hotel Feature Tip : Sit and wait for the elevators.

Large rooms, good service.

Seemed to be hard to find. Charges by the half-hour for internet connect. Some maintainence is lacking.

The hotel is located in Makati which is a bit farther from the airport than I usually like to stay. The taxi drivers had a difficult time to locate the hotel. The service was good and the staff friendly. I was disappointed to discover that the internet connection (wireless) was charged by the half-hour. I also stored my lap-top and camera with the front desk when I went out for shopping and on our return, they could not locate it. It took them three attempts to locate it. The suites all have a kitchenette which has sufficient utensels and china to make a meal for two. Considering the charge for one night was $49 US it is not a bad deal.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't try to get a taxi between 6-8 PM as that is the rush hour. We waited in a line for over an hour to get one. Also the line-ups are specific for areas of the city. If you get the wrong one you have to start over at the right one - if you can find it.

Handy for Ayala Handy for airport Handy for nightlife Handy for everything

Slow elevator

This hotel provides everything that a visitor to Manila needs, whether you are discovering the sights of Manila itself or merely using the hotel as a stopover between flights. The location is perfect, only a 200 pesos taxi ride from the airport. Within walking distance of Ayala offices and banks. The rooms are the best value for money in Manila. Only problem is the waiting time for the elevator.

Nightlife Tip : Right outside the front door is just what your looking for.

Good price, great location, helpful staff. We've stayed at this hotel several times and had a problem with out original room this time around. They immediately changed our room and corrected the issue. Great service!

Down the street from the red light district. Not necessarily a con, but just a heads up if you're travelling with children.

This Hotel is exactly what todays traveller needs in Manila. Very close to vibrant part of City. Only 200 pesos, 3o minute taxi ride from airport.

The 2 elevators are busy, so it seems that it takes ages to arrive.

min. 50 words This Hotel is exactly what todays traveller needs in Manila. Very close to vibrant part of City. Only 200 pesos, 3o minute taxi ride from airport. There is wifi available in the rooms, but is expensive, but this is easily avoided because there are 2 or 3 internet cafes within sight of the hotle's front door. This was my fourth visit and I will stay here again.

Nightlife Tip : This Hotel is in the right place.

For the price, the studio room I had was good for me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The AC worked great. Room service was excellent.

The room I had was close to the top and it was a long wait for the elevator. There was no hot water for a shower. The hotel offer wireless lan, but expensive. Use internet shop.

The Hotel is located in Makati. They offer a kitchen with refridgerator. No carpeting, all tile. The furniture is old, but adequate. The area is the red light district of Makati. There are alot of bar/clubs nearby. There are also some good and inexpensive massage places. Not a family oriented area. Everything you need is within walking distance. Shopping, fast food, and good fun.

Shopping Tip : Watch out for the street vendors, they are persistent in getting you to buy things. Their cost is double would you can get at other places like Baclaran and Devasoria.

Hotel is centrally lovated in Makati near everything , room was confy and clean all worked fine , had cable tv as well , wifi was available at a cost

Elevators a bit slow ,

The staff was not too friendly , and that made a difference in my mind , because of it only a 50-50 experience value for the money , the reception staff can be nagging at times , but overall things considered a reasonable value for the money

accessible price, good location, friendly staff, good for a quick stop in Manila

busy neighborhood, loud at night

The hotel is perfect for a one night stop in Manila while you are on your way to somewhere else. The bus station with south routes is not far away, around 60 pesos in a taxi. There are several bars in the neighborhood, some food places as well. It is busy at night, so don´t expect absolute silence, and don´t be naive to think the girls come to you because you are good looking.

Nightlife Tip : bars and show places

Good location, courtesy staff, no complicated check in and out.

Breakfast is available on the top of the building with an excellent view of the city, however the quality of food and service may require some improvement. The breakfast is really just for having something in your stomach.

Hotel Citadel Inn is locate in the heart of entertainment area of Makati, life is going on till morning. The hotel itself is not an entertainment centre, but if you want to have an easy stay for a couple of days or more without complications and for a good price, this would be the right decision. Wireless Internet connection is available, however, as in most hotels in the Far East, you have to pay for it. The stuff is really helpful, they are happy to serve you. The usual tips are recomended, but here they earn it.

this hotel is in the middle of everything restaurants, bars, clubs, and shopping malls.

WiFi pay per hour is a poor deal

This was my second time stay at Citadel Inn. I had a wonderful stay the first time and thought of no other place I would like to stay at. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family. The staff was courteous and friendly as always. Some of the staff remembered me from first stay which made me feel even more welcomed. The hotel location is perfect place for a nightlife. There are bars, restaurants, and massage parlors nearby, all walking distance from the hotel. Hotel staffs are very helpfull and taxi rides average about 2-3 dollars one way.

The high floors has a nice view. The room are spacious and the Aircon are well working

The rooms need some new paint job or wall paper. It abit rundown. Need to do major house keeping to keep area clean. Aircon working fine but a bit too noisy

For a hotel of this price rating in the mist of the bustling area is quite a good deal. Though I would say the room need a little more improvement. Wireless should be given free with a time limit for additional value added. The television should be upgrade to get the actual feel of a 3 star hotel. All sorts of activities surrounds there. The dinning are everywhere. The bars are bustling with activities and for those who love to drink and pot a few pool ball with good happy music. This is a place.

Hotel Feature Tip : Need to prepare some spare change. As the hotel need a deposit of 500Php (refundable) when you check in.

on arrival at citadel inn,i was welcomed by the happy and friendly receptionist.i was amazed at the speed that they processed my check in.on entering my room,i was pleasantly surprised that they had given me a large room, comprising small sitting room, dining, kitchen and a separate sleeping area. additionally, the hotel is easily accessible to all local amenities. mrs. fenna
