Comfortable room, good food and very handy to many areas. We had no weaknesses to mention this trip. The personel in this hotel went above and beyond to help us this trip. We have stayed here several times and all stays were fine but this was the best. When we encountered problems and had to extend our stay the front desk people managed to extend our room not once but twice so that we did not have to change rooms or hotels. The lady in the business office managed to make last minute airline changes at the last minute two times even while suffering from a bad loss of voice. She could hardly speak. My thanks to all.

clean room, double door for security and lowering down noise from the hallway. Smoking in the restaurant or in the hallway. No WiFi in the room. Slow response to demand. Expensive internet at business center. The safety box was not functioning. The staff were friendly but handling your demand too slow. I asked them to bring my luggage upstairs and waited for 30 min and not coming up and decided to get down to pick up my luggage. But other than that, the hotel is nice. I can recommend it to a single traveler but not suitable for children or family.

The friendliness of the staff, the spotlessly clean rooms, tasty breakfasts, the location, in fact almost everything about City Gardens Hotel. Just one although it wasn't something I disliked; there should be more than just one elevator/lift for the number of guests staying there. Heard from the staff that another one was going to be built soon so getting to your room and floor will no longer take too long. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone having really enjoyed my brief stay there. Wish I could have been there longer instead of the other place I chose to spend my first week at in Manila. Will be returning to the city next March and will of course be booking another stay in City Gardens through Agoda
Nightlife Tip : There are many bars and restaurants in the area so dining out is no problem, just be careful to avoid the seedier bars if that kind of thing is not what you want.

near the historical center; low price City Garden Suites Hotel is good for a budget tourists going to spend a couple of days in Manila (I don't think there are things to do in Manila for more than couple of days). It's near Intramuros, Rizal park and Oceanarium. The room was clean, neat and had everything I needed. The breakfast was quite basic. My total opinion is the hotel provides pretty decent service for the price it demands.
Be careful however and look after the hotel's things in you room like towels etc. Once while cleaning my room a hand towel was taken but was not replaced with the new one. I noticed it but did not pay much attention becuse there were other towels. But when I checked out I was charged for the missing towel 100php. Not a big amount but I rather had negative emotions because I was thought of as a thief.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Oceanarium is not mentioned in the guides. We just accidentally walked at it. It was partly under construction but it has a good exhibition of fishes etc.

Rooms were nice and staff friendly. The buffet breakfast was nice and offered something different everyday. Hotel wasn't located in a very good area. The streets weren't very clean, but maybe that should be expected. Overall, the hotel was okay. One issue I had was no hot water in my room. Someone immediately came to check on it, but couldn't resolve it right away. I waited until the next morning and had to call again for it to get fixed. Then after working on it for about an hour or so, they were able to fix it. I think because of the inconvenience, they should've offered me another room.

The room should have a water heater. The hotel gave instant coffee, sugar and cream but did not provide hot water.

Nice and clean rooms.Helpful stuff. The place Ermita is not really inviting to stay longer.Nothing for tourists except u like the barnightlife. to stay 2 or 3 nights its really a good house. Also not to far from Robinson mall,one of the biggest in Manila. Nightlife also very close in walking distance to the hotel. I would recommend that hotel of course.
