This hotel is good and clean and the location is very good.
Account staff mistook my charge. But they correct that immediately.
The location of the hotel is very nice. Its near from shopping mall and green belt. The staff is very kind and friendly so I like this hotel.
But the breakfast buffet is so expensive.
I want to stay this hotel again in my business trip.

very friendly and helpful front desk and concierge services.
Proximity to some very large malls and restaurants.
Very security conscious.
Excellent location with close proximity to large shopping malls and excellent restaurants. The concierge Eric Lim is always helpful and courteous and will always assist with ideas. Got a free upgrade from just being recognized as a returning customer. Overall the room was excellent with good housekeeping services and attentive housekeepers who respond very promptly. The rate charged for the room and free upgrade is value for money.

Staff, location, price, rooms, facilities
No smoking in the bar; pay for use internet
I have stayed at the Dusit Thai several times over the past 18 months. An excellent value hotel in the heart of Makati. All the rooms and facilities warrant a five star rating, with the exception that the bar is a no smoking area. The staff are efficient and welcoming in all areas and the rooms are always in excellent condition. An excellent Spa.
Shopping Tip : The hotel rear entrance is less than 100 metres from the entry to SM, Greenbelt and Glorietta

Everything espacially the staff of reception is very nice.
Internet connection is not high speed.
Last time I used internet in the hotel. The charge is not so expensive but its speed is not enough.
I have to check business email even during trave. I took long time to check that.
It should be improve.

Good clean rooms and superb service. very close to everything including a SM mall and Ayala Ave.
Not much of a high rise and the view from the room is lined with dirty buildings.
if breakfast is included, take it. the buffet has good variety. ask the reception -they will assist with everything and in good detail. the room is very clean and the service of the staff is exceptional. they will go out of their way to assist with most requests. the location is great and close to everything but taxis will take you almost anywhere in makati.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : a taxi from the airport will charge you expensively.

Recent major renovations, mixed with attentive service and excellent position especially for Glorietta Mall. Excellent buffet breakfast.
The only niggling drawback I find is they do not allow local taxis to pick up at front entrance even if requested through concierge, best bet to go to side entrance where there is a taxi rank across the road and pick up allowed at the door.
The Dusit has undergone major renovations over the last couple of years and this has dramatically improved the rooms. As a Dusit Gold Card holder I was upgraded to Dusit Club facilities. The hotel came up to the usual high standards I expect of an international 5* hotel, is well sited with very attentive staff. On a previous stay, I needed to access the internet urgently late at night, although closed, the business centre was opened for me and internet access arranged, with no big fuss. It remains my hotel of choice in Manila having stayed at many.
Shopping Tip : Across the road from SM, Glorietta / Landmark Mall so no need for a taxi with all that heavy shopping, just cross the road and your there.

I got room upgraded. Suite was very nice. Massage was excellent. One of the bests was an Italian restaurant. It is top of the line.
Facility was a little bit old. Old style of hotel robby.
Overall I like the hotel. But, a little bit old flavor. Value for money is excellent.

Very good service. Great restaurants. Walking distance to shopping malls.Very good security - an important factor for tourists these days.
They made a mistake in adding some charges incorrectly for my upgraded room. But when I pointed this out they were very good at immediately correcting the mistake.
Overall I think this hotel is a very good value for the money. Security is a very important factor in hotels that foreigners stay in these days and this hotel has excellent security. The Italian restaurant Tosca is excellent - food, wine and service.Rooms are comfortable- very little outside noise. The air conditioning is very good - low noise.
Shopping Tip : The SM Department store next door is good for checking out good values

Professional friendly staff, great view over Makati
Not exactly five-star, furniture was old-looking
The staff were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. We felt safe and cared-for staying there. The location was also pretty good, close to shopping, food, etc, with a great view. It looked as if they needed to update some of their furnishings a little, though, because while comfortable, the room didn't look as slick and modern as I really expect from a five-star hotel.

Clean, tidy, helpful, secure, well situated.
The hotel was good from the start. We spent one night there then went back for a further week. During the visit my son had a serious problem in Manila and the management and security were so helpful. They sorted out a very dodgy and dangerous situation for us and got us out of big trouble. I don't know how to praise them highly enough. This exceptional service was the standard that the rest of the hotel reached. I also had a lot of business in the Peninsula and although it was nice it came nowhere near the Dusit for personal service
Shopping Tip : We regret not getting an advantage card for SM ( Department store opposite the Hotel)when we realized just how much we spent there in the course of a week

The hotel is located in the center of Makati. Everything is accessible. Nice location.
Way to the parking area if you are driving. There is no lift service to the parking. You have to walk through the back door while carrying your bags.
The Hotel is located in Makati's busiest area. Its near SM, Glorietta and Edsa. You can just walk outside and breathe the atmosphere of the Philippines. Bars, fast food restaurants, shopping malls and its also just walks away from Starbucks coffee and Hard Rock Cafe. The Hotel's security is consistent. Transportation is available 24 hours a day. you just walk out of the Hotel and you will find a lot of taxi's ready to bring you wherever you wish. However, I wish the Hotel would consider setting some waiting area or seats near the check-in and check-out counters. I was with my children and they have to wait for me standing. The hotel suggest to me to bring my kids to a lounge where there is some seats available but they are quite far from me. I want to make sure of the safety of my kids so I want to make sure that I don't let them off of my sight every single second. I hope they do something about that. But in general, its a nice Hotel with Thai atmosphere. I will surely come back.
Nightlife Tip : Hard rock cafe is just a walking distance.

Large and comfortable rooms.
Starting to show signs of age.
The Dusit is an excellent hotel and well deserves its high star rating. It has a 'grand' feeling about the lobby and public areas, and the Thai style hospitality is noted and appreciated.

Very close to the shopping center, the deluxe room amenities are l'occitane, spacious room, clean room, latest videos on demand.
I just stayed in the hotel for 1 night arriving really late, and leaving really early, so I didn't have time to taste the food at the restaurants in the hotel. But the hotel is located right beside the shopping mall, and just spending time in the hotel seemed also nice, too. Very spacious, very clean. I liked the staffs, too. Will try again if I were to visit Manila again.

Location - short taxi fr airport, centralto other areas, next to Greenbelt/Glorietta; Excellent customer service and staff performance; Tight security; nice fully equiped gym with free weights; nice pool/area; awesome value (price:return)
My 15th floor Club room had minimal closet and drawer space compared to my friend's 9th floor deluxe room. Other than that, no con's worth mentioning in my opinion.
As I read the other reviews, I agree with some of the cons but they seem very nit-picky at best. All hotels have pros and cons, Dusit's Pros far outweigh it's Cons. The staff are the friendliest and most professional I've experienced w/o exception, the location is quite central and easy walking distance (2-3 blocks) to the Greenbelt Nightlife or Hard Rock Cafe. The lobby is spacious, the elevators quick, security professional and efficient. You want to know if it's worth staying here? You can find (2) better hotels in Makati, for a price. You won't find a better deal w/o compromising comfort and safety in Makati than the Dusit Thani. You pay for a 3 star hotel and get 4-5 star comfort.
Restaurant Tip : Cheap lunch options at 3rd level, Glorietta 4 called Food Choices food court. I ate at "Cucina"
Have dinner and drinks anywhere in Greenbelt. Go to Cafe Havana before 9pm.
