This hotel is situated right in front of Ayala Shopping centre which is a bonus point for most travelers. Rooms are kept clean, especially clean white towels given daily. The staff are well mannered and is always ready to offer you assistance. Nothing that I can think of. I have stayed in many hotels in Manila, but I rated this hotel as the best of all that I have stayed at. Their service is tremendously fantastic. All they want is that you enjoy your stay and they will make sure that you will come back again. The food in the restaurant called the Tosca Italian restaurant offers mouth watering dishes to cater to your needs, where it be Chinese, Filipino, western or Japaneses. After eating breakfast there, you will keep longing for more. In this hotel, they make you feel so prestiges and upgraded. I have indeed made the right choice and I thank Agoda for a vary easy checking in and out. Well done, Agoda. I will be back again for more!

Beautiful rooms, great security, location. Hotel taxis are very expensive. The Dusit Thani in Manila is a definite 5 star hotel. The hotel is located in Makati which is very close to the airport, about 20 minutes. Maybe 15 minutes to the Mall of Asia, which is a definite must for any shopper. The hotel is located within a very nice area with a huge mall right across the street. There's a huge food court at the mall and plenty of other options with a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Taxis are available, but try to avoid hotel taxis, they're a bit expensive.

clean rooms more expensive than some other hotels in the makati area This was my first stay at this hotel. I was impressed with the service and the attentive hotel staff and hotel management. The location is superb. I ordered room service and ate at two of the hotel restaurants which were pleasing. I have to say that the Japanese restaraunt on the first floor is fantastic! Great food and great service!
Restaurant Tip : Umu is the Japanese restaraunt in the hotel. The food is outstanding....very authentic Japanese.(I lived in Japan for two years and have a passion for really good Japanese food.) I saw a television program about this restaurant and the chef said that many of the ingredients are imported from Japan. I would eat at this restaurant again whenever I visit Manila! 5 stars.

the room was great the bed was king size need to pay to use dvd player we stayed there 3 nights the room was great very good price for a 5 star hotel. staff were very helpful and freandly. i loved the roof top pool .
was good location right across from a shopping centare . the in house reasturant and cafe was great . i realy like the cake and deserts from the cafe in the foyer.

3. superb service! we ask for additional bathroom amenities it was delivered ion less than 5 minutes The buffet breakfast has limited choices given the star rating of the hotel I was expecting for much much more. It was my first time to stay at this hotel and I was not disappointed. The room is superb with complete bathroom amenities, the location is strategic to shopping malls and the staff are courteous.Overall, the hotel is superb albeit a little expensive but it is worth it.
Shopping Tip : There is a shopping haven for bargain hunters smack down the Glorietta Mall. Look for it.

Best offer for 5 star hotel. Paid little - for 1 night excluding BF while all other 5 stars asked for more. Best location in town only matched by Shangri-la, Renaissance, Interconti and Peninsula. However Breakfast buffet charged for PHP 1050++ and even on their special offer to promote still charging PHP 920++ which is about twice its value.
Still, overall very happy with this deal since same expensive BF applies to all other 5 star hotels.
Shopping Tip : Just across shopping mall Glorietta.

The feeling from the hotel employee’s shows they really care for their guest. This was all the difference in the stay at your hotel. This is a First Class hotel by all means. Everyone’s always willing to help, to suggest, to smile, and to make you feel good about being there. I have already suggest to my friends in 3 other countries the hotel in Manila "DUSIT THANI Hotel" is the one to stay in while you’re in Philippines. I am returning as a customer this month of Nov 08. If there was a weakness (personal thinking) there was no breakfast package with the rooms at the . Both are separate through registering with Agdoa Rewards. I learned of your hotel in Manila through the internet. I travel alot in Thailand which have many very nice hotels. I love the Thai style which the DUSIT THANI from the first time I enter I was very impressed the decor its look its cleanliness and the friendliness just when you enter into the lobby, everything just got better as my stay became longer. This was done right every customer should be pleased. I will always stay in the DUSIT THANI MANILA I am sold on this hotel in Manila. I will always suggest using this hotel in their stay in Manila. Fantastic location...very central and strategically located by a huge sopping mall

Friendly and attentive staff When I arrived it was midnight and I was exhausted from two flights. I has a long wait at the registration desk because another guest who had just arrived had trouble with his visa. I was really exhausted and annoyed. I complained and received a personal apology from the hotel manager. I was really pleased with this. The next day the manager called to make sure my stay was okay. This deminstrated caring and excellent customer service so the con turned into a pro. I was really impressed with this hotel. From the great location to the customer service to the excellent restaurant that I ate at (Umu Japanese Food on the first floor,) I would highly recommend this hotel and I will stay here again when I visit Manila.
Hotel Feature Tip : The gym and pool are really great. I had a late night swim in the pool on a warm Manila night. It was really relaxing.

Location of the hotel is great. Hotel itself is pretty old. Location of hotel is near the shopping zone of Makati, like Green Belt, Park Square and Shoe Mart. Also, there are lots of restaurants near the hotel. Again, location of hotel is just great. Quite near to the international airport, too.

Friendly, warm and welcoming staff. Overall accommodations are pleasant. Close to shopping and proximity to Manila proper. First room appeared to have potential problem with rodent. Second room had abundance of silver fish. My overall experience with my stay at the Dusit was delightful. The overall ambiance is a welcoming one given the current environment of potential terroristic threat. The staff is warm and friendly and presents a very good professional demeanor. I found the hotel provided comfort and adequate access for business needs. Entertainment in the lounge was thoroughly enjoyed, and the beautiful harp player that welcomes you at the entry to the elevator is an added bonus to the ambiance. My special thanks to the bell/porter who offered great directions and advice for transportation to and from shopping spots and city entertainment! I will definitely visit again.
Restaurant Tip : Be sure to try the various venues that offer local cuisine. The food court does not compare!

The best features of the Dusit Thani is that the room key is your approval to ride the elevators up to your floor. You must slide the key in a slot and press the floor that you are on. Great security. Another selling point is that the lobby is very rich with gold tones and professional uniforms that the employees have on. What needed improvement was the single beds. They need to be bigger (full size) instead of twins. Also, it would be nice to offer breakfast buffet to all guests that stay in the hotel. My review of the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel is that the location is great for shopping, eating, and enjoying the spa. They have great professional customer service that the employees provide and the lobby is done with rich gold tones. The lobby has wonderful entertainment that will keep you amused during your stay. To get to your room, you need to slide your room key in a slot and press the floor that you are staying on. This provided good security and I felt safe.
Shopping Tip : Next to the Dusit Thani are several shopping complexes. It is in walking distance and there is even a supermarket in one of the malls.

Top location,very convenient for shopping,eating and also some night entertainment just across the road.The hotel itself has had some makeover done which is good. Nothing really to complain about The Dusit Thani is a great hotel to stay in with its very strategic location and also they have very friendly and polite staff.Room is nice & comfortable,bathroom is also relatively nice with good toiletries except they did not provide disposable shavers.I would certainly recommend this hotel should any of my friends go to Manila.
Shopping Tip : Do not worry about having to scurry all over Manila to do your shopping,everything is just around the corner,SM,Glorietta,Russtans,Landmark,Greenbelt and etc. Just make sure you have lots of cash if you are a shopping freak!

The hotel is on top of some of the best Makati shopping you could want. The service was great and the suite was ideal. Very close to the airport. Plenty of bottled water - especially when you get in late you need it. The hotel is on top of Glorietta mall and SM mall. Great shopping district. Staff were great. Pool area was nice. Food was excellent. Reasonable rate for the location and standard of the accommodation.

Shopping Tip : Hotel is close enough to drop shopping in the room to go and get more!!

Proximity to great shopping This hotel was recommended by a friend and lived up to all expectations. It had some of the best service that I've experienced in the Philippines. The rooms are big enough with really comfy beds, good climate control and nice bathrooms. The pool area is gorgeous and would be perfect for a cocktail party or just a lounge by the pool. The gym and spa also looked like they are top quality.
Nightlife Tip : There's a great bar nearby
