Wonderful time in Manila
Perfect location in the heart of Makati. Not even a stone throw from MTR, SM and Glorietta Mall in the green belt of Manila.
9.7
The Hotel staff is absolutely competent, friendly and helpful. After a few days, you are known by the face and treatet even more special. Met the friendliest and most supportive Consierge in more than 30 years of business travel. (Mr. Eric Lim)The rooms are spacy enough and gives you everything you need. The atmosphere is really Thai in the heart of Manila.
Shopping Tip:
Many malls near the Hotel. MRT Ayala 3min from Hotel

my overall experience at dusit hotel was great. i highly recommend the place because of the location, warmth welcoming ambiance, friendly staff and prompt assistance. room is also clean and all information is available either by phone call of by reading the flyers kept at the desk. the one more thing to remember, the hotel is close to the international airport if you are to catch a flight at the end of your stay.
Shopping Tip:
dont worry about not carrying toiletries with you when you travel and stay in dusit hotel. just next door is a big shopping mall where you get everything under one roof. i do that every time i come to manila and stay at dusit hotel.

Dusit Manila Review
Great location. Very attentive staff. Large rooms. Good for thew business or holiday traveler.
8.7
I stayed at The Dusit for two nights on a business trip to Manila. It's Makati location is great as most of the big companies have offices near this area so the famous traffic jams could be avoided.
The staff true to the Dusit Thai culture were very attentive and helpful. I also recommend the in hotel spa which is first class. The breakfast spread was also good so make sure you bundle in the breakfast with your room.
I would also recommenced this hotel to holiday travelers and those on shopping trips.
Restaurant Tip:
Many restaurants all within walking distance.

I am a repeat guest of the Dusit Thani Manila. It is good value for money and the staff are very attentive. I will stay there again the next time I go to Manila.

Ok, but not five star
excellent location: right next door to the malls, restaurants, etc. They allowed us to check in early
6.3
The hotel lobby look good, but there was no place to sit down. Hotel employees were polite, but there were too many of them standing everywhere to greet you that it feels intrusive. The bathroom fixtures were old and not working very well due to lime deposits. We stayed at a room with 2 beds - each bed was smaller than a double bed. We paid to have the buffet breakfast - it was not as good as at other hotels in Makati. Lots of food, but not cooked well. Overall, ok hotel, but I would not rate it as a 5-star one
Restaurant Tip:
Do not pay for the breakfast buffet. Just outside the hotel, across the street, you can find a number of places to eat at.

Loved the stay
The hotel is very near to Green Belt so you can walk there. Many shopping and eating areas around Shangri-La.

The hotel is very near to Green Belt so you can walk there. Many shopping and eating areas around the hotel. Starbucks is next to the hotel so breakfast is taken care of.
Restaurant Tip:
Try Tapas at Greenbelt as the wine is the cheapest! SGD3-5 per glass.

Pleasent stay
Close to malls and MRT
Nice and spacios rooms, friendly staff, warm atmosphere
9.7
The Hotel is very close to Ayala MRT station and just opposite of SM, Glorietta and Landmark malls.
The staff is very friendly and ready to solve any problem. The rooms are clean and large enough. The bath room was big and supplied with everything needed. Towels and linen were changed every day.
The THAI atmosphere was transfered to the guests.
We arrived from Bangkok and were surprised to find the same atmosphere in Manila again. We will definitely stay in Dusit again.
Shopping Tip:
SM, Glorietta and Landmark a must for shoppers

Consistent great service
Location, staff, lobby lounge/green space
8.3
We returned to the Dusit after 2 weeks of island hopping before heading back to Canada due to location and service- again it is easy to explore Makati on foot from the hotel, and it is also fairly close to the airport. Although our flight was 1.5 hours late coming into Manila, the hotel driver was waiting for us when we arrived- friendly and courteous as usual. The green space adjacent to the lobby bar is great to sit and have a drink in- it is quiet with waterfalls, tropical trees and flowers. The pool area is standard and uninspiring and could use a facelift. We secured a non-smoking room (on the 8th floor), however it was humid, small, smelled musty and was dated- although it was clean, the room could use some work. That being said the location, service, and price point would merit a return visit.
Travel tip:
Definitely hit Greenbelt for restaurants, bars and shopping!
