Experience with Agoda booking
The hotel was very helpful when Agoda did not want to give me any refund for cancelling the booking 2 weeks in advance.
The hotel was also very helpful when reinstating the booking after Agoda refused to refund any pre-paid hotel charge.

I made a booking for 2 rooms for 3 nights through Agoda about 3-4 weeks prior to the foreseen stay and my credit card was debited immediately. For personal reasons i had to cancel the bookings. To my surprise Agoda claimed that the Dusit Thani hotel has 100% cancellation charge, although the booking was cancelled about 2 weeks before the forseen stay. Thanks to the intervention with the hotel directly, I could reinstate the booking rather than losing the entire pre-paid amount. I was very surprised to learn that the hotel (like all other hotels) has a different cancellation policy than what Agoda told me. No cancellation charge except if very last minute, when ONE roomnight would be charged.......
Luckely the hotel made up for the bad impression we were given by Agoda. The stay was nice, the staff friendly and helpful and the location is great.

Excellent location for the Glorietta Malls and within walking distance to the "Greenbelt"

Best value in Manila

This was my first stay at the Dusit Thani. and I was very pleased. It was much better than I expected given what I paid. It compares well with the Mandarin Oriental, which costs 3x as much. The bed was huge. The room had everything needed for two people - ample storage space, desk, chairs, table, drawers, closets, fridge, safe, etc. If you forgot something they will give you one. Great service, good food, beautiful restaurants and public spaces.
Shopping Tip:
You can walk to the 2 best malls in Manila - Glorietta and Greenbelt, also SM Mall.

Dusit Thani Manila - Outstanding service
The service is outstanding from the minute you walk until you get into the room.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Makati Business District and a walking distance to shopping mall. There are plenty of restaurant around the hotel to choose from and the room is reasonable price for that location. What amaze me is the outstanding service that you get from all the customer service staff be it at front counter or housekeeping. It's also quite close to the airport with approximately 30 minutes drive.

It was a very nice experience. I had to check in late at the hotel due to problems at the airport but the hotel had no problem. The room was great. It was big, clean and very modern looking. The service was the best anything i needed they were right on it even at 4 00 in the morning.

For business, I think I will stay at this hotel because it's famous in Makati, and the security is very good, they check everyone's bag before you go inside the hotel. The swimming pool is nice and the SPA is fantastic ( it's a little expensive but very relax ) the Thai food restaurant inside the hotel is excellent. Except the room is not big enough and the facilities are old. ( you can to pay for WI-FI, pay for the internet which I don't like ) Generally is okay but too expensive and it's not really worth it.

Love this place
Have stayed at the Dusit on two occasions now. Friendly and polite staff, great foyer area, wonderful foot massage, room quiet and very comfortable, close to restaurants and shopping malls.

I love this hotel. This is a very personal response. I like the fact that it is located close to the Greenbelt area with its wonderful restaurants and shopping facilities. Close to bookshops and cafes I find this hotel great value in terms of its five star facilities at an affordable price. Very flexible with check in. This was important as we arrived at a very early hour of the day.
Shopping Tip:
If you want a real bargain try the Landmark department store. Great value for money especially in shoes.
