Courteous staff, clean well appointed room, 3 nice restaruants
quite far to walk to GreenBelt, small bathroom, low bathroom counter for tall people
I've stayed here 3x in the past 3 years and I still enjoy it. Have never tried the health club, but did walk thru it and it looks quite nice. Outdoor pool area is also nice. Fine lobby bar w/ entertainment and excellent bf. Comfy bed.
Hotel Feature Tip : To locate a METER taxi, exit hotel's side entrance.

As you would expect, very nice hotel with extra touches that make it special.
Very good buffet dinner
Watch those little expenses like water and coffee - extremely overpriced
Of course its nice but they add touches like entertainers in the lobby such as a pirate on stilts, lady playing music - very refined atmosphere. Buffet dinner appears expensive but it INCLUDES all you can drink such as wines and beer and the food is fantastic - choices and quality. Just watch those extras such as water or coffee as they are extremely expensive (Php160 for a small bottle of water!) Shopping is just across the road.
Restaurant Tip : Go for the buffet dinner - just about anything you can think of - lovely seafoods/fresh and all you can drink in the price.
Go across the road and try some of the restuarants in Glorietta - better value for families

The location of this hotel is excellent. I have stayed here five times and I didn't realize how good the location in Makati was until I stayed at another hotel several blocks away. This area of Makati is so convenient and so safe.
You pay a bit more for this hotel but it is worth the money I discovered when I tried to stay somewhere else in Manila.
I am impressed each time by the service. If there is a problem, the management and staff will correct it. rooms are comfortable and spacious. The suites are beautiful. Location is excellent. There isn't anywhere else in Manila that I would rather stay.
Shopping Tip : The mall across the street is excellent. One mall leads into another mall leads into another mall. If you have time and interest in shopping, this is the hotel to stay at in Manila.

Thai hospitality, good sized rooms
Poor chair and desk for working
Everything that you would expect from a 5 star stay including a well stocked bathroom, clean and fresh rooms, very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and good selection of restaurants. The only (small) issue is the work desk and chair are not ideal for a days work on the laptop.
Nightlife Tip : The nightlife in MNL is never far enough away... no matter what hotel you stay at!

Rooms are a bit shabby, in need of a makeover
My stay here was perfectly fine. The rooms are good size with large windows and flat screen TVs. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There was nothing particularly fantastic to note about this hotel. I ordered room service and the food was pretty good. The security at the door was not particularly thorough (the dogs they had were sleeping most of the day!), but that was OK with me. Didn't get to use the pool or go to the Japanese restaurant, but both looked nice.
Shopping Tip : The SM mall across the street has a full supermarket inside! You can get anything you want to eat in there.

Right across the street from the mall. Many places to eat because of this. It is also down the street from the MRT or bus station if you choose to use it.
Currently painting is being done to the exterior of the hotel, therefore, don't expect much privacy during the day time with painters being able to see into your room.
It was my first time staying here. I was really happy with the location. It is close to the Glorietta mall which allows for many eating options. It is also across the street from other restaurants as well (I can't recall the name of that complex). Also across the street from the SM Market if you ever want to pick up groceries or things such as water. If you want to avoid the never ending Manila traffic, the hotel is down the street from the MRT station. If you have a filipino friend to teach you or accompany you to use their rail system, this is a convenient and cheap way to reach your destination (also lets you avoid the irritating taxi drivers that want to rip off the tourists with no meter rides). The lobby area of this hotel is really beautiful, large, and clean. I had a deluxe room and it was clean and nice as well. Unfortunately my stay at the hotel was short and I was not able to taste the food in the restaurants although there is a good variety of food and it did look good, although you should be prepared to pay more compared with the outside restaurants. Overall, I liked this hotel and would like to stay there again if I get a fair price.

In the middle of the city easily accessible to all my relatives.A perfect location for shopping as Glorieta and SM are just across the road. More so a variety of restaurant can be opted for dining out.
Rooms are well maintained but water taps need more work. The drain in the bathroom sink doesn't work propely. I would be very happy to see a manual bidet to wash up each time after using the toilet.
I and the family have been staying in Dusit for years everytime we go home to the Philippines. This is the first time I stayed using dusit gold card and I was surprised to be taken to the mezzanine floor for checking in which was a speedy one.As an upgrade I was given a free breakfast throughout my 9 days stay with my sister from America. I was also offered to be upgraded to a suite for an additional 2,000 pesos/day which I politely rejected. I thought it would be an upgrade for free. Ms.Chuchay who I met again on my second day was happy to see me and asked where my husband is (she met him last year when we stayed for 6 weeks). We had a bit of a talk and she left to attend to other guests. She made sure we had fresh fruits every morning. I recognize few faces from last year but most of them are gone. My sister from America was also delighted she stayed
with me and said she would definitely choose Dusit on her next holiday to the Philippines. Hopefully we will be accorded better upgrade when I go back with the family in June next year. We look forward to seeing the beautiful faces of Dusit Thani staff again!!!
Shopping Tip : An excellent hotel to stay for both shopping and dining. Lots of restaurant to choose from, from the new Glorieta 5 to Greenbelt area.

location is good with shopping centres within walking distances. services and staff are very courteous and helpful. Pillow is very comfortable
I just stayed there for 2 nights. Checking in is very smooth and fast. The security is good. Sniff dogs were at the entrance to sniff out dangerous goods. Security is good. You can only access your floors with your card key. Breakfast has good spread. Staff at entrances and lobby and floors are very helpful. They are also very courteous. I like the big shopping centres surrounding the hotel. Big supermarket just within walking distance. Posh shopping centres are within walking distances.
Restaurant Tip : Pork Sinigang (filipino sour soup) in the hotel restaurant is very delicious

Room decoration is very good. Staff is available to help guests who are waiting to check-in.
Bathroom looks pretty old, needs an update.
This is my 2nd time return to this hotel. Same good feelng. Check-in was swift and staff were helpful with everything and concerning. Shops and restaurants just right outside the hotel were very convenient. Location was good, all destination were not too far away. Heard the the health center was excellent but only tried the pool, which was great to get away from the heat.

Location.
Hospitality.
Comfort and Security.
Hotel is centraly located in makati, shopping and eating during daytime, party at night time . Nice big room, newly renovated room, fresh looking and calming. Bed was excellent, big and comfortable. Staff was excellent, ever so helpful and kind. Food and drinks was good, lots of resto and bar in and around the hotel. Security was very good, with canine guard 24/7.
